Rear USB C Ports not aligned

Do you have any other USB-C devices that you could try? There were a ton of incorrectly-made USB-A to USB-C cords being produced originally. it's possible that the cables are one of these old, out-of-spec cables. But I would hope that the Tesla-supplied cable would be OK.

    Lift gate rattling

Take a passenger with you and have them sit close to the noise and see if they can push or pull something that affects the noise. I did that with my Y and passenger located inside the front vent rattled. Mobile service took it apart and was done in 30 mins. Maybe you will get lucky and be able...

    20" Induction tire replacement with Michelin Pilot AS4 275 /35 R20

I went with the 19" TSportline TS5 wheels with 275/45/19 DWS06+ tires. They ride much better for me. As for these, the ride is less bumpy, especially over pot holes and railroad tracks. Not sure it impacted the noise as much. I might be looking to sell the 20" induction wheels with the OEM...

Where to hide or stash a key card on the outside of the vehicle.

It's not so much having it hidden as it is, accessible. I plan to always use my phone. But in the event that something happens to my phone, I have 'stashed' one card at home, and one at my office. Hmmm, where the heck is my office one?

    Tesla battery packs?

There’s the Tesla warranty that covers packs that degrade at high speed. The battery’s high price is one of the main issues around whether electric cars can replace traditional vehicles. A longer overall lifespan will reduce the need to replace the battery, but a cheaper pack would make both...

    Tesla battery packs?

Tesla battery replacements, including labor, tend to cost a bit more: 1. Between $13,000 to $20,000 for a Model S premium sedan 2. At least $14,000 for a Model X premium SUV 3. At least $13,000 for the Model 3 entry-level sedan 4. A similar price for the Model Y compact SUV, but as the car...

    Tesla battery packs?

The main reason it’s hard to judge how long an electric car battery will stay on the road is that they simply haven’t been on the road for that long - the Tesla Model S only launched in 2012. For the Tesla Model 3, released in 2017, the company’s warranty covers the first eight years or 100,000...

    Tesla battery packs?

An easy way to estimate, as far as Teslas go, is to switch it on and check the range. 1.Charge the car to 100 percent battery. 2. Switchh on the vehicle. The car should estimate the range, located in the bottom left corner of the instrument cluster on the Model S and X. 3. Divide that by the...

    Tesla battery packs?

Batteries basically turn chemical energy into electricity. Too cold and the reactions slow down, reducing performance. A warmer battery performs better, but too hot and reactions will speed up and degrade the battery.

    Tesla battery packs?

In most cases, EV batteries have been holding up better than anticipated when the modern generation of EVs launched a decade ago.

    Tesla battery packs?

Like Tesla’s official data, Electrek noted that the battery capacity dropped off early in the car’s life, before declining less dramatically in subsequent years. It also found a more severe decline between 90-kilowatt-hour packs and 85-kilowatt-hour packs, though the reason why is unclear.

    Tesla battery packs?

In the real world, Tesla claims the battery in one of the premium Tesla Model S or Model X cars will retain an average of 90 percent of its capacity after 200,000 miles. But Third-party data shows a similar story. An April 2020 study from Nimblefins, using user-submitted data from Model S cars...
