Sports mode steering feels significantly lighter

I think it's very hard to make one perfect setting for everyone. Hence, I really appreciated that there are three levels for steering feedback. They used to be noticeably distinct; and I really enjoyed the sport mode. My complain has been that Tesla changed them to be too similar to each other.

P3D with MPP sports… what would you do next?

Add 0.2 degrees of camber to the rear. That should wake you up when turning.

Is it safe (or better) to use the Pilot Sport 4s N0(Porsche) version on a M3P?

FYI, N0's side profile looks quite different than the T0. N0 looks more stretched; but its "rim protection lip" sticks out further, making it actually functional.

Is it safe (or better) to use the Pilot Sport 4s N0(Porsche) version on a M3P?

Wow. This article explains a lot on the design of PS4S. I think I'd prefer this BMW version for my SoCal usage. Thanks for sharing.

Is it safe (or better) to use the Pilot Sport 4s N0(Porsche) version on a M3P?

Tirerack has it cheaper and lighter than the TO version. I understand it doesn't have the foam, which might preferred by me...

I'm sorry for not being specific. Do you have them in 19" for M3P? Do you have them in offset for Tesla, like your TE37?

20mm wheel spacers for 2022 Model 3 Performance with uberturbines

I currently have -1.4 camber and 14mm spacers front and rear. The front looks perfectly flush, but the rear looks to be about 5mm sunken in. I'm contemplating either: 1. switch to 20mm in the rear (the rear will probably end up poking out more than the front) 2. drop camber to -1.2 or -1.1 in...

MASTER THREAD: Comprehensive Road-Course Modification Guide — Optimizing the 3 for the track

I've noticed the steering "sport mode" feels lighter with the last few software updates. Does this affect handling on the track? Or it doesn't matter for you guys?

Sports mode steering feels significantly lighter

Just tried .7... I'm pretty sure sport mode got even lighter. I think it feels even lighter than the original standard mode. Sad. I actually drove my car with no destination just because of it's such a pleasure. I don't feel it anymore.

Sports mode steering feels significantly lighter

I used to have a car with no power steering. This model 3 really takes me back to that feeling: the car turns WHEN I turn it, and goes straight by default. This feel really sold the model 3 to me. (I prefer it over the model S because that drives like a boat)

Right now, it feels like power steering off a sedan. Before, it felt like no power steering, but in a very manageable way. So very confidence inspiring.

passenger rear wheel is sticking out farther than driver side?

    P3D Rear not aligned mystery

This is an old thread. so just FYI, my 2022 P3d seems to have the same problem in the rear. Only notice it because the car is now lowered and wheels are more flush with spacers.

passenger rear wheel is sticking out farther than driver side?

Holy crap. This is really a thing?! I scheduled service request. Hopefully Tesla won’t brush me off. The installer double checked the installation, and swapped the left and right wheel. No problem there.
  45. S

passenger rear wheel is sticking out farther than driver side?

The alignment spec looks almost even. Could it be uneven body work from factory? I have never heard of this situation from a new car before.
