Repair was done same day. The service notes say that they found that "one of the trim panels for the triple camera was not properly seated". They reseated the trim panel and rattle was gone.

For another take, how much does she actually need to see the screen while driving? I actually hardly look at it, except for speed.

Not sure if I am stating something you already know, but you have to press the right scroll wheel on the steering wheel in to have the car listen for a voice command.

Coming from a car without a blind spot warning, I am finding the blind spot video to be sufficient and also very helpful.

I had this issue on delivery. Was fixed on first service center visit. Got lucky, I guess.

They did end up giving me a mobile connector kit. My other delivery issues (review mirror rattle, couldn't set glovebox PIN) were also fixed.

I didn't notice the missing mobile connector until I got home, so I have put it in a service request. I'll let you know how it turns out.

Picked up at Arden (Sacramento) yesterday! External finish is perfect. A few minor problems: review mirror rattles. Can't set glovebox PIN. And NO MOBILE CONNECTOR. I hope that last is an oversight because based on order date I thought I would be getting one. Anyway I am sure those issues...

Now have an appointment to pick up at Arden (Sacramento) on 08/03. Just in time...road trip on 08/04...

So bummed. My EDD got pushed back today all the way to Sept 9 - Oct 23! Why????? Current car is on its last legs and probably can't pass smog test (due end of Aug) without extensive work.

Another question is whether AWD is important to you. Most of the other options in a similar price range only have a similar range in their 2WD versions.

Don't get too excited about a 2 week window; I had one and then got pushed back a month (and reverted to 4 week window)

Will be interesting to see what the data recorders show. I haven't seen anyone report PB taking them to a full stop. Could also be mechanical failure, or the driver could have had a medical issue.

The website notes a couple of things that don't work correctly with current software. They don't exactly provide confidence that they are going to fix it. Hard to get excited about spending $1,000 for something that is already out of date and may not get updated.

Do any of these new deliveries have the heated windshield wiper rest spot?

Remember that the EPA range of 330 is for combined city/hwy and that EVs do better at city speeds.

The number of inventory vehicles popping up compared to the number of people with reservations is very small, so it is unlikely to affect the wait time much.

Okay now I understand the issue better. I thikn the point is that regen braking makes the car worse than a normal car because it is only braking with the rear wheels, yes?

AWD helps you go in the snow. It doesn't help you stop.
