No, I had to reorder in Jan 2021 at the then current price. But this is still way lower than what it costs today. Tesla also gave the upgrade to 6 seater for free as I ordered 5 seater which later turned out to be no longer produced.

Beemer_guy in the group linked above there was a discussion about a second or even third ship for Europe. As your EDD is later than mine (nov30-dec7) I would assume that yours will be on one of the other ship that arrive later. But just my guess. This one guy there Mr. miserable knows...

Update on European orders. We were able to identify the ship the X and S Plaids are on. At least mine is on it (delivery window first week of December). All paper work has now arrived for insurance etc after I paid last week. so it is getting real and now seeing that my vin matches with a car on...

Well I would understand if your order date was as far back as mine is - I am a Nov 2020 order and with my EDD of Nov/Dec 2022 that will be more than 2 years waiting. Hope that makes you feel a less frustrated. 😉

This would be weird if it was for the money. They offer the upgrade for free and as we see not offering 5/7 leads some folks to rather choose the LR and with that Tesla makes way less in these situations. And now they might give some hundreds of free upgrades. So to me this doesn't seem to be...

Same in Germany. Blood pressure immediately rose when I read "Update to your order". But actually my fear was rather a full cancellation or being told it will take until 2023. Second half 2022 was anyways already my expectation and not getting worse/later seems to be a rather positive news.

You guys are still all lucky. No matter if you already have your VIN or not. Why? Well, I ordered in Oct 2020. like so many then Order was switched to new model (plaid, 5 seats) in Feb. BUT: I am in Germany and as such will have to wait probably until end of next year or even beginning 2023...
