    Weird noise sometimes....normal?

That is a similar but different sound (and also only clicks once)

    Weird noise sometimes....normal?

It is most likely the contactor for the main battery engaging and disengaging. This sounds just like you describe. There are numerous events that cause the engaging or disengaging of the battery, but during normal operation (driving) it should remain engaged, so no clicks there :-)

    Firmware 6.1

Hence "think" and "might". Though usually the first installations of new versions are made through Service Centers, right? And usually in the US.

I don't think these are meant for the public (yet). You might get your friend into trouble by posting these.

Yep locked out from 0.28.01 here as well now.. Ack, what to do to get my car warm in the mornings without remembering to do so now... Joe, for us lazy ones, can you do a compile of the version of github, so we don't have to dilly-dally with compiling and building it ourselves? Update: 28.01...

Will the export be able to export to CSV format in addition to Excel? I'm unable to do a complete export using my 20MB stats file, hence why i'm parsing it on my own.
  7. C

    VisibleTesla

Are one of the benefits that it'll be easier to parse? Getting the C_SOC and C_EST is very useful over time to show range per % soc reported by car.

Joe, any thought to when the loc/stats file start becoming "too large" for a single file or visibletesla to handle? My stats file is at 20mb now, and I'm worried (perhaps unwarranted) that at some point it'll choke and zero the file, making all my battery history .. well.. history :| Any...

Ok, i'll go back to 28 for now. Let me know if you want me to try out .30 when that time comes :)

Hey Joe, i made some simple screenshots from the graphs tab. It seems .29 is less "stable" in collecting trip information compared to earlier versions - and like you, i think the Tesla servers are to blame. Here's the log from today. The app is set to daydream at 0600am, it will toggle HVAC at...

How do you erase a GPS location for auto air suspension change?

You will see the icon for auto-raising on the screen as explained above when you get into range. this icon has an x in it. click this to remove the setting for this location (or press standard height).

What's your 6.0+ car name (if you are willing to share?)

Named mine same as the Pxxxxx number. How imaginative..

Remember that charging on SC as compared to home charging bypasses the internal chargers in the car. This most likely explains the Power graphs you're seeing.

I'm using : Subject: C: {{CHARGE_STATE}} / {{SOC}}% / {{IDEAL}} {{D_UNITS}} Message: {{DATE}} {{TIME}} / {{P_CURRENT}}A this way i get the complete information in the email notifications on the phone, no need to open and read it. I would like to see {{C_CURRENT}} - the charging current, as well...

    VisibleTesla

You can use the {{RATED}} macro to show this rate, customize it as seen on the release notes/help pages. This page: The Notify Tab scroll down to "Advanced Feature: Defining your own message using variables"

    VisibleTesla

You are correct. Somehow it was still using .01 and i did not notice - it unpacked and replaced all files except the- .jar :) I will continue playing with the customization now. Is it possible to get the car's charging current (as specified) in addition to the pilot current?

Thanks jpasqua for this updated version. One issue, i am only able to set email and subject in the charge state becomes email - i don't get a "message" box to edit in. Also the notification comes through with an edited subject, but the variables doesn't resolve: Subject is set to : {{DATE}}...

Taking an on-ramp turn too fast?

I get the traction control lights up a lot of times, even when it's not expected. For example going uphill on wet roads, if surface changes friction for a bit, it can suddenly lose grip and lights go flashing for a second. Turning increases the likelyhood of this happening. When the 19" tires...

Yes, VisibleTesla needs to be running to gather data, so without it running on a computer, you won't log any information about the trip.

I was wondering why the notifications were sending weird information back, I would like to see Ideal (typical) range reported as well. I don't care about rated at all. Here's my last notifications: 2014-05-31 22:55:45 Charge State became: Complete SOC: 80% Range: 315,7 km 2014-06-01 18:26:50...

I saw you added information about the "unplugged?" scheduler event, can you do the same with the "Charge State becomes" - it'd be nice to know the charge state when it becomes anything. (Oh, and if you add remaining range, remember km/mi) :)

About Vampire Loss: Period: [04/23 00:47, 04/23 06:10], 5,37 hours Range: [249,07, 248,23], 0,84 Average loss per hour: 0,16 Is the "Range" reported in miles? - meaning the "Average loss per hour" is also stated in rated miles/hour? Can this be outputted in the selected unit of the car...

Thanks, i will try to confirm the times on my next trip. This 15-minute delay to detect a trip, is it possible to tweak this in a configuration setting somewhere? Perhaps it could be of interest to many to have less delay for trip detection, or more, depending. :) I'm thinking especially for...

Until you find a way, you could supply for example 3 batch files with your districbution, one for 512mb, one for 1024 and one for 1536, perhaps - or two, one for windows and one for mac, for each memory stamp ? :) Is there a way/reason as to why trips are "delayed" in showing up? Today it was...
