You open the frunk and pop off the plastic cover above the frunk. It's just held on with clips. You'll be able to see the battery in plain sight and "li-ion" will be printed on it. It will also look different and smaller than a typical car battery.

So it does seem yours is slightly higher than the average. Really sorry to hear about all of the issues you're dealing with and I hope they get resolved smoothly...

@tm1v2 Here is an actual measurement. Seems to be very similar to the photo @lUtriaNt posted a week or two ago, and also similar to the M3Ps in the video linked earlier in the thread. It’s actually lower than one of the 2021’s he measured.

How do you know, did you measure? The 2021s did not sit low, even compared to LR and SR from the same model year, as shown in the video linked earlier in this thread.

We obviously don't have that luxury now. I think most users, myself included, are interested in what information people are getting from their SAs. Even if it ends up being false info, that's valuable information going forward.

Two users on reddit taking delivery of SR+ (Vancouver and Arizona) have reported that their SA have confirmed Ryzen for their upcoming deliveries.

Even for us M3 folk, it should be encouraging to see the rapid change in MY deliveries after 1/11. Hopefully an equally rapid transition will happen in the next few weeks with the M3s. 👍

So another TMC user said they have used it in they MY with white seats with no issues. I also posted a comment on a Youtube video where a guy installed it in a white M3, and he also said he has not had any issues. I'm not sure if this completely resolves my anxiety about staining the seats, but...

Thanks again. I have 2 small dogs so I'll see how it goes with just the Tesla liner. Really relieved it doesn't stain the seats like some 3rd party ones do.
