Will this location get the new "urban supercharger"? The pictures appear to show a single post/foundation, not the typical double post that we are used to. Perhaps this is why this location does not appear on Tesla's future maps?

Installer is there and confirmed it. He said it was turned on about an hour ago, and he's really hoping to watch a few people charge. I was hoping the picture of the little illuminated light in the stand would help prove it....

I apologize and did not mean to offend. My brief sampling of the area recently, as I mentioned, was just the small stretch from the northbound exit off I-83 to the shopping center. My immediate observations mostly pertain to the very busy atmosphere. Felt a little overwhelmed with the volume...

I have developed similar opinions for this area. Checking progress on the SC is the only thing that has ever brought me there. Each time I approached from I-83 N, it left something to be desired. Traffic patterns in the approach of the parking lot itself seemed a little dicey at times as well...

I kind of regret going back to work after this last visit. It would have been interesting to see the tesla tech go through the checking process.

They are putting in the cables right now. The knife switches are closed. Construction guy says the tesla technician is here for his portion of the inspection. The last inspection won't be performed until everything is up and running. He didn't seem to think it will be "open for business" today...

I'll drop in soon to check. From yesterday's visit, it looked like everything was in place, except the cables. As others have suggested, it's probably just down to the final inspections now.

Do SCs typically have sponsors? I found it interesting that the signs say "power supported by Weis"

I wondered the same thing. I also wondered if they wait to install the cables to avoid confusion as to whether it is operational yet or not. Maybe there was some confusion prior to past openings, potentially leaving some wishfully optimistic drivers stranded?

Construction fence is gone. Still missing the cables.

I talked to the installers today before they rolled out. They said the power is not connected from the poles yet and that it will not be online by the end of the week. They mentioned that they are being pressured to finish.

I think it looks like 8 chargers. 2 pull-in forward and 6 back-in.
