Well, I said I'd update--unfortunately before I received the clips from Bel-Metric, there was another snowstorm and my mudflap came off completely while driving through some snow somewhere. Had to contact Tesla service, who came out and replaced the passenger side mudflap for free.

Is there any way from the app to confirm that everything is off and nothing accidentally got turned on? We'll be parking our Model Y at the airport for the first time next month for a weeklong trip and I want to ensure that we minimize SoC loss while it's parked.

Do you park your car inside or outside? Like I said, when I park my car outside, the exterior temperature is accurate. It's just that it takes a long time to adjust when you go from a climate-controlled garage to driving.

I’ll say that my home delivery was not like this. The driver had no problem with me looking the car over for several minutes and made sure to answer any questions I had before taking off. Your 3rd row seat also wouldn't release from the upright position? In mine, the passenger side releases and folds forward slightly when I squeeze the button on the seat. Then I can push it down to fold it flat into the cargo area. The driver side one just doesn't release--whatever the seat is...

Yeah, it’s just a button on the seat itself. The buttons on the wall of the cargo area flip down the 2nd row seats.

Awesome. Thanks for the tip. I know nothing about tire sizes—are the last two numbers the size of the wheel and the first number the outer diameter? So the 245/45-19 fits the same sized wheels, but is a slightly smaller diameter?

Maybe it varies by state, but the app just let me upload my current insurance policy number/card and marked the task as completed. When I added the car to my policy I made the effective date of the change the same date as my delivery. Also, I called geico and they did some voodoo to the policy...

You have the CrossClimate 2 on a Model Y? They don't come in the right size for the stock 19" wheels, right?

I found Progressive was a lot cheaper than Geico for me: Geico wanted an additional $500 per 6 months to add the Model Y to our current policy while Progressive was only $300 per 6 months more than our current insurance.

Same question--I'm scheduled for home delivery and I plan to pay with a cashier's check. I presume if they need you to sign some paperwork that they'll be there to collect the check as well.

Man, that is brutal. My EDD did nothing but get narrower and my scheduled delivery date is right within the original EDD Tesla gave me.

A couple of us, yeah. Got mine last Thursday morning. 7 seats, wh/blk no other options. Ordered on 8/4 and placed on hold one time.

MYLR7 Wh/Blk, 19”, no tow no FSD. Ordered and PCD 8/4. Held from 11/26 to 12/31. After hold released, EDD went 1/16 - 2/15 to 1/22 - 2/5 to VIN and 2/1 - 2/5 EDD

Any other IL folks get VINs in the most recent batch? Got my VIN this week and currently have 2/1 - 2/5 EDD.

Hopefully soon for you--at least it seems like they're filling 7-seat orders now.
