First drive in significant rain with 2024.2.3 and wipers worse than they've ever been for me, they've always been underwhelming but never had to use the manual button as much.

In fairness it's impressive how good the car is at spotting cyclists without lights in the dark, which seems to be the vast majority round here. Still seems to be a problem when you switch to the radio after listening to another music source, unfortunately.

One thing I did in the recent cold snap (without giving it much thought) was to turn on climate control ~10 minutes before departure, then defrost ~5 minutes before, this might slowly warm the windscreen up a bit before blasting it and maybe reduce the chances of it cracking.

To be honest there's only four shortcuts I'd want for fear of pressing them accidentally, wouldn't want to pop the front boot, door or even boot with a stray press. Lock, climate, defrost and charge port seem safe enough for me, could squeeze sentry on I suppose if needed.

Always had house keys and car keys on separate key rings anyway, didn’t want to carry bulkier car keys when not out in the car (e.g. for a drink), plus made it easier for someone else to use the car (whilst leaving the spare car key in a safe place for emergencies).
