Mine did come with it. That being said I ordered it prior to them making the announcement. They're supposed to not include them for orders after a certain date but mine should have (and did) come with one anyway. Not sure if S and X will be affected otherwise in the future. An update... they haven't rescheduled/cancelled my latest service appointment yet. Hopefully I will finally get my delivery issues fixed 7 weeks into owning the car. Fingers crossed for Thursday this week.

Lol, I know you're joking but to be clear for others who may not realize it, there are no more wood trims in the newer Plaids. That was a temporary thing last year when they were having supply issues for carbon fiber. Model S has wood, Model S Plaid only carbon fiber.

Different color but mine was also out of the blue today. Was slated for end of March and then boom today I had a VIN. I noped right the hell out of there.

Model S Plaids are prioritized because they cost more. More expensive the car, shorter the wait. I was originally told 2-6 weeks when I ordered it. Then the EDD was in April....then March...and now it was ready to be delivered (so that 2-6 weeks window wasn't wrong in the end).

Update on my end. Model S Plaid. Ordered on January 8th. Most recent EDD was March 10-31st. Today they gave me a VIN and updated it to EDD January 30th-Feb 05th. As exciting as this is for me, I decided to unmatch the car and have them mark me as ineligible. I'm going to try to drag it a few...
