Yeah I wonder.. does anyone know if the front and rear motors remained the same between the 2021 LR and 2022 LR?

Something to do with needing to test it with the new batteries I think? I hope they don't run into any issues or change their mind to make it never available for the 2022 LR!

Thanks for the input everyone. I've decided to upgrade to the Long Range version to get the best we can afford within reason. We've only had a test drive of the RWD version and Performance version so I even thought for a moment to get the Performance version but this was much harder to justify...

I was curious about this and wondering how the orders are assigned. So do they just make a set number of cars in various trims/colours and it gets allocated based on the order date after that? Does this mean they could end up with some unsold trims/colours for any given shipment too?

I've found a place that is approx $200 to paint the wheels so I'm back to considering this as an option.

Ahh yeah, I had considered it but was quoted $500-$600 per wheel so I figure I'll just pay a bit extra for new rims instead.
