I think it is dependent on which Tesla dealer you pick up from. In my case, I called to request them NOT to install any front license plate and was told they don’t install front plates in that particular dealer. But as someone else mentioned it was be “required” per CA rules etc.

Will likely need to reject vin, put order on hold until you’re ready then, hopefully will have new vin assigned shortly after.

Thanks! She’s in garage until her PPF appt next week. The journey is definitely worth the wait, it may dwindle a bit, like it did for me when I got a EDD push backs, but it will spark back up when you get your vin assignment.

As others had predicted I got a new EDD of 2/14-2/28. Down to a 2 week range from 30 day pushback 3 days ago. SoCal with OD 12/14 White/black/aero/no fsd

I read that as well so hoping that is the case for us with an EDD push back.

From what I recall reading was that you need to basically take possession of car then you can apply for the rebate. I could be wrong, maybe other members can chime in to clarify.

Same sentiment, ordered on 12/14 to SoCal and widely varying EDD’s is very annoying. Sorta loosing hope on us making before 2/24 CVRP deadline. We shall see…

My previous EDD was 2/9-3/9. Was kinda surprised it updated this morning. Mine was stuck at 2/9-3/9 for about 2 weeks. It went from 3 week window to a 30 day window then now down to 2 weeks for the first time. I don’t remember the exact EDD date ranges as it’s changed 4-5 times so far.

M3 LR White/black interior,aero wheels, no fsd. OD 12/14 in SoCal.

EDD update today 2/4: 2/10-2/24. First time down to a 2 week window, hoping the narrowing window trend continues.

That is exactly what my SA told me from the Camarillo location. My latest EDD is 2/9-3/9. I have a feeling he was being a bit optimistic. Just here hoping to make it before 2/24 CVRP changes.

Identical OD with very similar EDD’s, only difference being car color and delivering in SoCal. Here hoping latest EDD doesn’t have another push back for us.
