Most big name tire shops are aware of what is needed. I always sit in the car and drive it into the bay. I set the Jack mode and also remind the workers to use the pads on the jack points. They should have a set of pads. If they do not, I always carry a set in the car.

It is obvious, all the electronics go through the rubber on the Tesla tires (I know - weird routing but ensures there are no shorts in the tunneling). When you change the tire size, it re-aligns the electrical tunnels- thereby re-establishing your services:D:D

I would think that is not unreasonable if you consider the following scenario. They could have an update that they feel is important but needs some additional testing. They know the upgrade is coming and therefore, holding off to avoid recalls. Lots of other scenarios.

Quick update. EVOffer responded and I was able to locate the brown connector. I was using the wrong harness when trying the connection. A separate video on the Model 3 helped with the new latch system. Will continue install later tonight. Do not expect any further problems :)
