I've noticed no reduction in range. The amount of time I'm actually making use of the increased performance (ie at 100% throttle) is probably like 0.01% of my time driving, so no surprise it doesn't make a difference.

You could also get one of those plug in meter things that tells you the voltage. Compare what it reads somewhere in your house with no load vs what your car says. Or just limit the charging current and see how much the voltage goes up.

There was a suggestion on another thread to just do a voice command and say "USB" when you get in. It works for me to resume where it left off before, it even seems to work if you say it after you've driven off.

I would give them a call if it's still not active, I don't know if ALD need to do something or not but it's worth a shot. I assume you got the email from Tesla on the day for the digital signature, and you signed it and got the confirmation email back with the documents attached?

Mine just appeared, so about 8 hours from delivery to appearing in the app. That's with ALD through my company.

Also wind direction/speed makes a monumental difference. If there's a 15mph wind and you're driving at 70mph, the amount of air drag (which largely determines battery usage) is 2.4x higher driving into the wind than with the wind.

Exactly, so long as all requirements are met I don't see the issue. For another car I bought plates from Halfords and hacksawed them down to size myself to fit the car, it's never been pulled or failed an MOT as it still meets all the required dimensions.
