My experience has been that the Arachnids have been trouble free and the rest of the Tesla 21 inch wheels will get bent if you drive near a pothole. I bent 3 of the stock 21's but only was aware of 1 incident affecting 1 wheel.

My Dec 2016 S is very noisy at highway speeds, mostly tire noise. 21" with foam Michelins. My 2017 GMC Sierra is significantly quieter.

Model S with 21s, freeway expansion joints are much louder without foam. The car needs no extra noise.

I went from AP2 to 3 on MCU1 In short time I turned off stoplight recognition Display is slightly less responsive now but not problematic, no other noticeable changes I would not recommend upgrading to HW3 with MCU1

With 21 inch wheels on a Model S, I gave up and carry a full size spare and a jack. Takes up lots of room, but my last flat couldn't be fixed, Glad I had the spare.

AC is incredibly efficient, I loss very little range from heat.

The +5mph is only if you have stop light not enabled. With stoplight enabled you get 0mph above speed limit.

I find Navigate on Autopilot to be almost useless. If this is a major priority you might want to reconsider. Autopilot is awesome, NoA is not.

The only way QC is going to improve is if Tesla decides it is important. My perception is that it is still declining with no end in sight. That being said, the longer you delay the longer you will not enjoy these awesome cars.

A Huracan is readily available new or used. The dealer answers the phone. I would choose the new Roadster but unfortunately it is only a fantasy, I would be surprised if it is ever built.
