Yes, toe has a bigger effect than camber, with regards to tire wear. That's why it's best to have an indy shop do an alignment in the "low" setting.

For reference, that is the low setting. Here's medium, which is still pretty low.

I told the shop I wanted -5 F and -6 R, but maybe they got it backwards. Yes, I realize the geometry will change if I raise or lower. Planned to bring back in for alignment anyway since the steering wheel is tilted to the left ever so slightly.

Yes, my shop aligned to their specs. I picked up the car yesterday, but don't have the alignment sheet yet. I will post it when I get it (most likely Tuesday). Car rides great, but I think the front may be a bit low for me.

Guys, you would have to have MUCH more negative camber for this to cause the wear. Toe would be the bigger factor here, so maybe that's worth investigating. Since I had my rears replaced at Tesla service maybe they checked the alignment, but maybe not. Maybe this is just an issue with the PS4S?

OK, glad to know it wasn't just me. I did have one issue that concerned me. Went to see a movie and car key wasn't working -- had to reboot the phone. Got a little concerned since I didn't have my key card with me.

Liking FSD, except for a couple things I notice: - right turns are on the jerky side (this is tough with yoke steering) - acceleration is not very smooth when taking off from a stop sign and sometimes traffic light

Yes, in one instance the curb opened up a bit to the left and then abruptly comes back in and FSD started moving to the left and I had to jerk the wheel to avoid hitting the curb (or so I thought). Will be testing on "easy" roads initially.

I’ve done it to my cars in the past, however I opted to not do it on my Model S. It always annoyed me when the film lifts and dirt accumulates in those spots. I’ll just respray as necessary.

My Bluetooth has never worked. Had mobile appt and they tore apart the dash and doors, only to make things worse. Console wasn’t reassembled properly (doors wouldn’t close). Told me I had to schedule a SC appt, so that was done, and have had the appt bumped to May 3rd. Not a good first impression.
