Okay… explain to me what is different about the physics of the mobile connector. You realize the AC/DC Converter is in the vehicle, right? The mobile connector is fairly simple, other than the part that communicates with the car (which is likely identical to what’s in the wall charger).

The mobile connector was not “engineered for occasional use”, that’s ridiculous.

If it makes you feel any better, I had a VIN that got delayed shipping at the end of quarter. They offered me the next VIN or a 30 day hold, I said hold so I could wait 7 days for Austin news. Took it off on the 7th, and my EDD has been sitting at June ever since. =(

Sub-60k makes sense since there are rebates in many areas that require a sub-60 base model price to qualify.

The slower 0-60 time is the most interesting part here. I wonder if that’s just a software limit to differentiate the models or if there’s some physical limitation on power draw from the 4680 cells that makes it necessary.

Did you find a vendor that sells them packaged with the tires plus TPMS?

How are you liking them? Thinking about these or the same but 20s for my new red MYP. What tires did you put on them, and did you get any extra protection of the rim vs the Uber turbines?

It is. June-July is what the main page says for new MYP orders. It’s what you get automatically when you change or come off hold. It updates after a few days when they put you back in place in the line.
