Picked up today in Devon PA. It has USS, parcel shelf, no matrix. Near flawless at pickup. Noticed very minor gap difference in the trunk/bumper area left vs right side when I got in different lighting at home. Very happy with the build quality so far and great drive home.

Anyone know when the 30 days clock starts to tick? Is it the day they try to actually schedule delivery? If so what happens to the car, does it sit on the delivery center lot for 30 days? I currently have an EDD window of 10/18-25 and the exact delivery date has not been schedule.

I have a 2022 MYLR in transit from Austin with build date of 10/6/2022. EDD 10/18-25

No I haven't found that documented. Talked to them on the phone and they confirmed no auto loans to PA. Recommended they update their website and process before the application process and credit report pull.

FYI. Adelfi doesn’t lend in PA. I was declined based on that.

Tesla let released the VIN and let me put my order on hold until 10/1. I'm now at an EDD of 10/18-11/1. I hope the VIN release doesn't count as my 1 rejected VIN allowance.

Hmm. I would love to know more. They wouldn't let me put mine on hold past October 1 and I ordered Nov 21. I think this is because my original EDD window was October 22. Can you provide any more details?

This implies that there is an immediate physical distinction when new model year is launched. I thought the model year was relatively meaningless with Tesla as they continually make changes in the same model year. Am I mistaken?

No, it was only available in the US briefly in early 2021. Google it if you want more details. Elon pulled the plug saying the range didn't meet Tesla standards or something to that effect.

Yeah agreed. Unless they did some sort of ~$8k off whatever your order price is. Unlikely, but I guess it would depend on what their motivation is to work though backorders and sell volume out of TX.

Nailed it. The vast majority of their audience and most MY order holders aren't obsessing over MY models and specs they way we are (myself included). I was hoping for more, but in no way expecting more. CyberRodeo was a macro PR event, much bigger than the details about 1 current model.

Yes thata my bet. A LFP to be made it Fremont and they shift all MYLR to Austin. Also would support a modest increase in range from the 4680 for the LR so its different enough from the LFP.

EDD just moved from July to September. Silver lining = higher likelihood of Austin VIN. Glass is half full.
