Further discussion and analysis on why the yoke is not good

Other than the lack of a functional horn position, it is not terrible.

    Why I Won't Be Purchasing My 3rd Model S

This happened with my original P85 and I never got the replacement. Ended up selling the car and get the P90D and it was actually worse with the next gen seats.

    Why I Won't Be Purchasing My 3rd Model S

He, like many of us, has become disenchanted with the cheap materials, build quality and lack of premium fit/finish expected in a $140k car. You seem to be deep on the bandwagon, which is perfectly fine. Just accept that some of us are looking at these cars differently then when we first...

    S and X take on new BMW F90 M5...

Nothing compares to a P100D off the line. But that M5 exhaust didn't sound "fake" to me.

    Why I Won't Be Purchasing My 3rd Model S

I lease cars every 24-36 months depending on residual value and money factor calculations. I never get far enough to deal with fuel injectors, timing belts, etc. Will probably move back into an EV (Taycan or hopefully a nicer Model S) in 30 months. I've driven the M5 daily for 2 straight...

    Why I Won't Be Purchasing My 3rd Model S

Software updates are free. Hardware is not. Pretty sure that was clear in my post. I’ll put my M5 up against your electric minivan on a track any day. The only thing in your rear view mirror will be your non functional wing. Tesla’s are 0-60 cars. That’s it.

    Why I Won't Be Purchasing My 3rd Model S

I just want to point out that my intention of posting this here was not to offend or persuade anyone away from Tesla. Quite the opposite actually. As a true Tesla fanboy for many years, I thought I would create some discussion on my thought process as I moved away from my 3rd Model S. I...

    Why I Won't Be Purchasing My 3rd Model S

M5 0-60 is 2.8 seconds. I can live with that. Will definitely miss the remote heating/cooling.

    Why I Won't Be Purchasing My 3rd Model S

I was an early adopter back in 2013 and I was completely ok with some growing pains. But what I saw along the way is a company that is moving backwards. Back then, a car that "updated itself over the air" was completely foreign and awesome. Now virtually every luxury car has that capability...

    Why I Won't Be Purchasing My 3rd Model S

Thank you for the support. Although it may seem like I'm here trolling, I am definitely still a huge fan of Tesla at heart. I just could not rationalize spending the money again without significant improvements. Someone mentioned "coat hooks and visors, etc". These are such silly things that...

Please note, only positive opinions are allowed moving forward. No one wants to hear anything negative, God forbid.

    Why I Won't Be Purchasing My 3rd Model S

I used this site for information. It has been hugely helpful, one of the sites I routinely check in on every week. I'm not a poster unless I feel like I have something valuable to offer. Think what you will, I've owned more Tesla than 90% of the people here. Time to move on.

    Why I Won't Be Purchasing My 3rd Model S

How long have there been "rumors" of an interior refresh? Almost a year? And now we find out it's probably 2 years away in Elon time? Things need to change. I guess the world always needs sheep like some of you on this forum.

    Why I Won't Be Purchasing My 3rd Model S

The Model S is "convenient but not comfortable" That's my assessment after making the difficult decision to not purchase my 3rd model S after my lease ends next month. I started with a P85 for 2.5 years before the desire for AP took over and I decided to bite the bullet, eat $24k in...

Is it possible to swap old bumper for new one?

Beware of Karstyle. Paid deposit in September with delivery promise of August. That was delayed to September, and now it's October and still nothing. They have stopped responding to emails and requests for a refund so now I have to file a dispute with my credit card company.
