Finally got my car delivered yesterday. Tyco road location has been great. I was Out of country on vacation so they delivered the car right to my house.

Finally got my VIN. F444. MYP blue. Picking up from tyco in Virginia. It kinda sucks because I’m out of country during first week of June and my Edd is 5/30-6/3 For once I’m hoping it gets pushed back lol. But so happy to see a VIN!!!

Only sad part is my delivery windows are exactly in middle of my vacation and I’ll be out of country I’m back on the 5th hope they can still give me delivery after 5th and won’t make me put my car on hold to give it to some one else

Hertz was never going to get Austin made cars. They were advertising Long range models when they placed the orders. The texas made models are only going to employees from what I’ve read in other forums

Just got VIN. F444 Edd 5/30-6/3 . When i checked the app, the app asked me to allow to use Bluetooth and when i granted I saw VIN!!!

So this weekend i went To Dulles airport for rental and i saw At least 10 model y there. 2 of them had VIN F335 so it’s recent. They had few whites, a blue and a MSM and few blacks too. Looks like tesla is delivering to hertz ahead of customer orders.

Deff not right. I have been pushed out twice after entering my EDD. You are correct people have been getting VIN who has not entered their EDD. At this point it feels like a lottery. There is no sense to how tesla is assigning VINs. Lol. I may Buy a lottery the day i get My VIN assigned to...

Are they west cost? They might get sooner even if they ordered late since it’s so easy to deliver to them compare to EC

Few people in September thread also had TBD and they received their VIN in few days. This could be it!

It should be right under your RN. At least from what i have Seen from others screenshots of apps when they get their VIN. But Tesla only asks for payment once VIN is assigned. So when you get request to finalize payment you deff have VIN. I’ve been only crack this so far lol

I believe Once you receive your VIN. Ask your SA to change your payment from cash to third party financing and then you will have the sales agreement you can give DCU.

Advantage selling to tesla is u have a ride going to DC. And if your state allows u to take the tax off new car for the amount of trade in to Tesla.

looks like its going to be all west cost deliveries from here on. i was wondering this and posted in another thread too. since tesla couldnt produce or delivered out of shanghai, tesla might start shipping to only west cost sooner this quarter to increase deliveries and match the expected...

Thats still not bad. you can still get it for lower from DCU. i usually pay off my car loans within first 2-3 years so that 1% increase wont matter much.

It will take close to a year to ramp up production at texas ( many articles and videos suggested that). Texas is producing vehicles right now but it’s producing MY AWD 279 mile range vehicle. They are reportedly selling to employees only and not available to general public yet.

I don't know why do i feel like Since giga shanghai was shut down for a month, to make up in Q2 tesla will start prioratizing west coast orders in may and june for faster deliveries to meet the numbers.
