At this point, all LR order holder should add FSD to level the field. If not then you are just being taken adavantage by those add and remove FSD before delivery. And Tesla does not give a sh*t.

Tesla is doing everything to max their profit margin. More early LR order switch to P, more profit even it costs LR order much longer wait time

My order is just a standard LR with no extra at all, doesn't seem to have a better EDD. Currently also on Oct-Nov

they are delivering MYP instead of LR. MYP obviously has a much bigger margin. And longer the wait, more LR will switch to MYP. In short term, definitely help to max the profit for T

FSD is different...tesla should pay people to use FSD. Anyone bought FSD and keep it, go ahead.

They can fulfill MYP before MYLR, but they can't fulfill high priced LR before those ordered in 2021...can they?

If ordering a MYP now, you will get the car earlier than many who ordered LR last year in Oct/Nov...

MYP is still 3 months wait time...yeah, it makes senses.

EDD updated today from "September", it's now Oct 4 to Nov 15. 12 month wait time...Hopefully it will get better from here.

Same here. 22 miles range is not a small one plus the size on the wheel. I remeber Shawn replaced his red MYP wheels to get a better ride. M3P makes a lot more sense to me if that's your thing. A great family EV SUV is most people want I guess.

it's pretty obvious that MYP order does not suffer such push back, still around 3-4 months, while LR is now from 7 months to 14 months. You may say EDD is not reliable. But EDD is all we got.

Remeber, Austin is originally planned for CT and Semi production. Because of huge demand for MY, they decided to use it for MY production. Many people thought it will greatly reduce the wait time for their Y. At least not for some time.

But still not started, right? So sth. is not right. Either 4680 not progressing as planned or not enough 2170 to support Austin MY production, or Austin need time to make change to take 2170 which is not original plan. Sth. is not going according to the plan.

Tesla raised the price for MY couple times between May and Oct. We visited DC in July and SA told us the delivery time will be Jan at that time.

I am just curious, if they are not planning to use Austin factory to produce LR and P, considering the demand for AWSR is small, what good to build it if it can't help to ease the demand. Sth. is off...

My EDD used to be Sep to Nov, but now it's just Sep. Still, I won't switch to MYP due to ride quality and range.
