I will always choose looks over feel. Its not like it feels like I'm driving on rocks. The 21" feel is smooth as hell to me. But perhaps its because I came from driving a Suburban for 14 years
As some of you may have heard, Owen Wilson had his wheels/rims taken off his Tesla recently. He lives about 2 blocks from me so I'm naturally nervous if/when I'm next.
Do the wheel locks on the Tesla site truly work? Or are thieves sophisticated enough to get around them?
Update on my full ppf and ceramic coat.
Car looks amazing after a wash. Looks so moist!
But I think there's an issue with the ceramic coat. After about 3 days after a wash, the car starts to get a white film, sort of like when you put sunscreen on and don't even it out on your skin. And the...
what's your process on washing now that PPF has been installed? I usually have a guy come and wash it for me but I can't do that every week and would like to mix in a personal wash every now and then.
Is having a 14-50 installed the cheapest way? I live in a condo with no chargers. Currently just using the regular outlet to charge, as well as Super Charger and other chargers around the city to get majority of my charge.
Regular outlet is way too slow, obviously. Looking to have them install...
Taking my black MY in tomorrow to get full PPF for $6k. I dont regret it. I feel like scratches occur when I just look at the car. Drives me crazy so I have to get it done.
realistically, does using a simple extension cord at home with one of the inputs provided in the car as a charging method affect your battery life at all? I do not have a wall charger installed at home (and don't really want to).
I know its going to take a long time to charge but curious about...
Did not know you could touch the xxMIles part and it switches to %. Prefer that option. Thank you.
So, if I'm going to say drive from LA to SF, ok to charge at 100% prior to leaving but for every day use, 20-80% is the best option?
thanks. I just read that thread and did a little research on that place and it sounds like a great place to get mine wrapped. I'm going to give them a call today.
no way the original post was real. I only read the first page of this thread so I apologize if its already been mentioned that this is definitely a joke.
I hope
Kind of what I felt. This is the type of job where I'm not looking to skimp, know what I mean. I tend to be on the "you get what you pay for" boat. Feel like if its too cheap, the job won't be very good.
Screw calling or texting. Show up to the shop and talk respectful.
I'm currently researching shops to get mine done. Want to do a full wrap ($4450 with xpel ppf and $4850 with stealth ppf).
Would you guys say thats a good price?
Also, looking for any recommendations for shops in the So Cal...
Just wanted to stop by and say I received mine and they fit perfectly and look great!! Thanks LDCRS!
Any chance you guys are making a trunk and frunk one?
what's the issue with PPF? Are you in the opinion that its just a car and scratches, chips, etc is just part of owning a car, or does PPF not work? Just curious
Love Vossen wheels. Definitely going to get a set soon. I just ordered a MY performance and was wondering what is a fair price for the 21" Uberturbine that comes with. And is it pretty easy to sell?
Sorry for the noob questions.
