    FSD Beta 10.69

So to update my post, I made this drive today. The ULT where FSD stopped every time in the middle of the road worked perfectly tonight. The two four-way stops were better but far from satisfactory. Before, FSD would barrel right through. Tonight, I got hard, last minute braking but not enough...

    FSD Beta 10.69

I just got the notification, too. Very surprising. I only got into the FSD program in May and definitely not influential. I have a drive on a rural highway I do once or twice a week that has two well marked, four way stop intersections that I don't turn on. One intersection has stop signs; the...

95+ score and no FSD Beta today?

Valve stems. It's all about valve stems. If all four are pointing up, they act as an antenna array. You get updates faster due to better reception.

    FSD Beta 10.12

Exactly. You're not supposed to trust it.

95+ score and no FSD Beta today?

I have a feeling this expansion has more to go. Nothing to really base that on. I caught it on the second wave waiting almost as long as you have.

95+ score and no FSD Beta today?

😀 I just got FSD, and it reminds me of flight instructing in the USAF. Me thinking in my head, "Well, I wouldn't be doing that right now, but let's see if they get themselves out of it before I have to do something."
  7. A

95+ score and no FSD Beta today?

Yes, I already had it from a long road trip. I didn't know about that new requirement, either, until recently. Tesla has almost always done updates in waves. I caught the second one. Keep the faith!

95+ score and no FSD Beta today?

96 score and just got the FSD beta update. Installing now. I noticed TeslaFi is indicating a small new wave now.
  9. A

    FSD Beta 10.12

So I've heard TeslaFi is estimated to be a 1:11 ratio. If so, that would mean about 4,400 of the 40k supposedly to be added to the 60k existing. There's hope for me yet . . .

95+ score and no FSD Beta today?

A couple of other people have reported something similar. I'm on 2022.12.3.3, and the software screen says "checking" and reports "up to date" with the current time and date.
  11. A

95+ score and no FSD Beta today?

96 score and didn't get it. But I also didn't get the huge pushout today of 2022.12.3.16 so I'll be optimistic and take that as a good sign. I assume/hope this rollout will expand in a day or two, like has happened in the past. In another week, my score will probably go to 100. I had a bad...

    FSD Beta 10.12

OK, this explains why my score got so hammered on a 750+ mile drive in one day. I only had a 1,000 miles on the car when I started. Most was on A/P, but I got dinged a few times getting on and off the interstate. I'm having a hard time recovering my score from it since, as you explained, that...
  13. A

    FSD Beta 10.12

Also, I'm not so sure about driving on A/P not counting toward your score. Can anyone else verify?

    When?
  15. A

    FSD Beta 10.12

I opted out last Thursday for two days. It never reset my score. It just stopped scoring my drives.

Tesla FSD beta safety score reset

I've just found out the same thing. Several months ago, I opted out and back in after I figured out how the scoring worked. I drove from SoFL to TN Thursday. My 99 score got murdered on the drive. I opted out near the end of the day. Previously, my safety score would disappear within 30 minutes...

    FSD Beta 10.11

One person is showing 2022.12.22 on TeslaFi now. That's the version that was reported elsewhere a week ago. No release notes yet.

    FSD Beta 10.11

I'm on the we're-not-worthy waiting list and pretty smug with my 100 score. Guy walked all into the street mid-block from behind the bushes so I got slightly nicked on a forward-collision warning. Knocked me down to a 99. Deep Thought regraded it a couple of hours later and gave me a 97. Would...
  21. A

    FSD Beta 10.11

If I don't have FSD beta by the middle of May, I'll probably have to do the same thing. I'm moving to a mountainous area of TN so I'll likely get hammered for aggressive turning. Unless I take these roads a very slow speed. I'm not.
  22. A

    FSD Beta 10.11

This doesn't make sense. Where did the 40k new FSD beta users come from?

"Refreshed" Model S model VIBRATION tracking and information thread!!!

Stopped by the Fort Lauderdale SC today, and they said the same thing. I expected that; but since I'm getting ready to move to a place where the SC is two hours away instead of ten minutes, I thought I would ask. The vibration on my car is pretty bad. It would be bad on an ICE car.

I would say most of them--eventually. We shall see on this one.
  27. A

    FSD Beta 10.11

The majority of people view it that way is because Elon said back in September everyone who's driving score qualified would be allowed in the program.
  28. A

    FSD Beta 10.11

No. You need to jack each wheel up to rotate the tires for the proper orientation.
  29. A

    FSD Beta 10.11

In the early days if you wanted to get an update, it helped if you parked with the valve stems pointing up. That gave you better reception. Could still work . . .

    FSD Beta 10.11

So, I received my new FSD car in early Dec. It was delivered at the worst possible time so I did little driving. Added to the 40 miles needed for camera calibration, I missed getting the FSD expansion near the end of Dec, assuming I would have gotten it at all. I have previously gotten very...

I hope the OP takes the check and ships the car so we can all find out how this story plays out.

Any advice how NOT to get scammed with a private buyer?

I've spoken about this before, but fraudulent cashier's checks have been a thing for years. A bank will deposit it, but it may take weeks for them to figure out it's no good. When they do, they will be coming after the funds from you. This was true years ago. Maybe things have changed since...

Well, it would be too awkward to ship. Kind of like shipping a big soft-sided suitcase you don't have a box for. Your profile says NYC. If you're down here in South Florida and can pick it up, you can have it. As in, literally have it. I have a pending sale tomorrow with Carvana. They don't...

Yeah, what Tesla says is about what I have seen. Drops most right in the beginning, and that's not very much. Like less than ten miles and then it flattens out. I have a 2013 P85+ with almost 29,000 miles. I've probably used as much battery with vampire drain as I have driving it. EPA rated...

They top out at 120kW, if I remember correctly. It's been a while. But this P85 never had its miles reduced by Tesla like a few others.

2103 P85+ for sale, all options

A little update for today. The price is down to $42,000. Carvana has offered me $40k. I think it would be a shame to let this car go to a used car dealer considering what it is, but you can't beat the ease of the transaction. I'll probably let it go wholesale after this weekend if no one is...

    Wiki Model S Delivery Update

I seem to remember the Ludicrous option was $20,000 for basically just a pyro fuse. After many paid for this, Tesla started including it for free, and were they pissed. I don't blame them. Their car lost $20k of value overnight. I realize this is different as Ludicrous wasn't a future promise...

NH resident with required to pay $2500. transportation and $1200. federally mandated fee.

I did this over ten years ago when I bought a used Porsche from a dealer in Santa Barbara. Had it flat-bedded across the state line and drove it home to FL. I paid the sales tax when I got to FL. In the end, I only saved a few hundred dollars, but I made a little road trip/vacation out of it. CA...
