I was under the impression that you can pay for black plates that are not custom (I don’t care what the plate number is). Or does getting them in the black color mean that they are custom?

Perhaps a silly question. Where in the purchase process do you indicate to the CA DMV that you want black plates? They cost $50ish, right?

Looking to get some window tints for a new Model S. I’m close to Premier Tint in El Dorado Hills. Has anyone worked with them before? Is there another shop that’s better in terms of quality and/or price?

I’ve never had a an electric car. From what I’m reading Tesla calculates range in absolutely perfect conditions. I was told to expect stated range less 20%. My driving is 90% highways at 75ish.

How quickly can you refi the Tesla loan with DCU? Will the refi be an issue if timing is too close to the original Tesla loan because your credit will be hit twice in a short period?

Anything with a March build date should have all the new bells and whistles, right?

Pinch me. Found a car in inventory that matched my exact specs. Build date 3/2. Texted the SA - she checked then matched it to me for immediate delivery. It’s odd that they didn’t call me but I called them? Too good to be true? Maybe a reject?

I randomly checked the Tesla site for inventory vehicles that match my order. And wallah - I found a car. Send my SA a text. She matched the car to me for immediate delivery! Build date is 3/2.

I found a vehicle in vehicle in inventory matching my criteria except for wheels. Will Tesla change the wheels from 19s to 21s on a vehicle already in inventory?

What are the chances that supply chain issues have thrown off this “last month of the quarter” delivery schedule for the Bay Area and we might see deliveries in April/May?

Well. 3/2 came and went…lol. No call or update on the app. Still says 3/2 - 3/14. 🤔 Which is ok - I still need to clean/wash and list my current car….hopefully it sells quick.

Hi guys, I ordered a Plaid, Blue/Blk, no FSD (going with the monthly), on Feb 9. EDD was 4-8 weeks, then changed to June/July last week, and now it just got revised to 3/2 - 3/9. Wondering if it’s one of the models floating around before the headlight update.

Which is odd because I just ordered in mid Feb. I wonder if this is one of the vehicles produced before the headlight update last week….
