2022 MYP Steering rack Failure. Tesla DENYING warranty coverage due to aftermarket wheels 20x10 with 275 40 20 set up

youll be fine plenty of people do it without issue. This was a fluke case of a steering rack failing non other than it failing. Does not relate to the the tires at all 275 fit perfect with plenty of space to spare. Heck some people run 285 and dont have an issue just depends on the tire brand as...

2022 MYP Steering rack Failure. Tesla DENYING warranty coverage due to aftermarket wheels 20x10 with 275 40 20 set up

LOL there's plenty of space upfront for 275. Tsportline does offer 275 squared setups and a lot of tesla owner do that for their summer set. 275 upfront does not cause a failed steering rack.

Model Y never reaches its charging limit

its not the app lol. its the battery and chemistry of how batteries work. The car can only "gestimate" the true percentage of the state of charge. As it charges and charging stops after it has sat there its "settles" and can sometimes go up sometime go down sometimes of which by 4-5%. it happens...

  9. Tonedog77

Model Y never reaches its charging limit

youre looking at at least 5k in repairs right there
  12. Tonedog77

    Model Y flooded. (Maybe)

best bet is to bring it to tesla if you are worried, pay them they can inspect and drop the battery to check. the battery itself is sealed and should not leak water into it but other things are exposed.

Is my 2023 Tesla Model Y Performance totaled?

if you are underwater then you took a bad loan, horrible reason to not want a car totaled sorry. With big impacts and things like that its always better to get it totaled. yes body shops can do great things and yes maybe you get it back good but you just never know and the annoyance of waiting...

Any 16V compatible portable power stations?

It charges the same amount of time when I use my Tesla or my Palisade with the 12v no difference I have noticed. If you are trying to charge up the jackery I would recommend doing it while driving the vehicle just like you would a ICE vehicle compared to having the car sitting there charging it...

Any 16V compatible portable power stations?

Same here. I have 3 different jackerys and work excellent as well as two different iceco coolers.
  18. Tonedog77

Any 16V compatible portable power stations?

correct thats exactly what i said, And yes by tesla in the first one i was miss typing and ment the device. "the device is doing the adjusting" aka a jackery or an iceco or the 5 other types of devices i have used with the 16v and had no issues
  19. Tonedog77

Living with the 16v LV battery

took a long trip with our MYP 22 with our iceco cooler worked perfectly, most well made devices have proper chips on the inside to adjust voltage
  20. Tonedog77

Any 16V compatible portable power stations?

Once again not reading it properly. The device receiving the power does the adjust. The power delivery does not in this case with the 16V. Been using my Iceco fridge for this week on a trip. I can see in my app it only drawing 12v from the 16v to use only what needs to operate. Proper well made...
  21. Tonedog77

Any 16V compatible portable power stations?

Are you reading what I type lol. The cars 16v puts out that. The device requesting the power does the managing in this case the fridge. I am fully correct in what I explained. You read it wrong. The device requesting the power always does the power management. Just like a Tesla requesting super...
  22. Tonedog77

Any 16V compatible portable power stations?

Incorrect. It communicates with the charger but the vehicle tells the charger what amps and volts it can take in. The charger is just supplying power. Just like the 12v is supplying power. Just like how the Tesla mobile charger just supplies power and the onboard charger does all the work. The...

  25. Tonedog77

Any 16V compatible portable power stations?

    yes no issues
  26. Tonedog77

Any 16V compatible portable power stations?

the device is doing the adjusting just like when you plug a tesla in to charge, the car tells the charger what it wants not the otherway around, same thing with the 12v, the jackery tells the car what it wants same thing with all the coolers out there that so many tesla owners are using with no...
  27. Tonedog77

Any 16V compatible portable power stations?

i have charged my jackery with my tesla no issues, the tesla adjusts the voltage to match what the plug is asking same with my Iceco cooler no issues at all, the jackery will charger perfect off the 12v in the trunk and then you can use the jackery to power everything else as well. i use a 1500...

you will not notice a difference i have the 22 MYP june build and it has the "softer" suspension, tesla tweaked it for non performance, your better of getting the mountain pass performance comfort coilovers. i have been in a new 2023 long range model y on the same roads and it feels exactly the...
