You’re right about more being listed. Tesla let you reserve the car for 7 days I’m told but after that if the care isn’t yours it’s freed up. I suspect there will be a different range almost everyday unless people reserve them and there’s a chance they might come back online 7 days later...

$4,500 in the US? That's about £3,600 and yet the price here at the minute is more than double that! Issue is, if I do it before collection I can add the upgrade cost to the initial cost which is a company purchase. And I'm collecting the car in 24hours!

A fun few days - Tesla confirmed in writing that the upgrade cost would be £2,000. I had it added to my spec as a result (which took almost a week to add to the spec for some reason). Having finally received the spec I can see the cost of £7,800 being added!!! I'm not paying that.

Bizarrely, I've now had another call to confirm that it WILL be lower than £6500, but what price exactly is not confirmed. it is likely rot be around £5,000 though apparently.

I have to be honest - I don't know. But the Tesla guy earlier seemed to suggest that it was £6,500 and remains so. £9,500 seems an awful lot to go from ma 60d to a 75d to me. That said, so does £6,500.

I had confirmation this morning from Tesla in the UK that the upgrade cost on a Model X is the same £6,500 it was before the price changes. IE, for the MX in the UK there is no change to the upgrade prices. Disappointing.

Spoken to Tesla a week ago in the UK but couldn't get and answer. Tried again yesterday, still couldn't answer. Tried again this morning - confirmed: 1. £2,000 to upgrade an MS 60/60d to 75/75d. 2. £6,500 to upgrade an MX 65d to 75d. Confirmed there has been no change to this pricing in the UK.

Has anyone got a 60d MX with 22" wheels on? If so, I'd be really keen to talk to you to hear your views on range.

I think that works out at about 140miles of range for the 22" on a 60d MX then and 174miles on a 75d MX.

So do people think the range will be 153 - 161 miles? TBH that's probably sufficient for us too. We'll be charging at home and not often we'd go further without stopping off for the kids anyway at which point we'd use a supercharger. Intrigued to here real achieved range of a 60d on both sets...

When Tesla say 10-15% impact on range I'm intrigued as to whether this gives the achievable range. IE on a 60d there is a rated range of 200miles. Would people actually start achieving a range of 170-180 miles with 22" wheels? If so, that's not really too bad considering people on 20" wheels...

That's really good. Other chargers should do the same thing. They should have number plate recognition and fine non-electric drivers for parking in the spaces - that drives me crazy!

The stores open in about an hour so I think I'll give them a call. Since there was no earlier process to follow I should still get priority. When it finally comes to the UK that is. I imagine at least 100,000 of those early reservations are in the US and you guys will get it before us. I can't...

But how will they know if you're a current owner? There is no where on the reservation form to acknowledge this. And - at least here in the UK - there has been no guidance on a separate process, merely a statement that we will get priority. There was no early access.

Yeah, I agree. I think Elon is just sat somewhere at Tesla where they keep prototypes, concepts, early design models etc.
