The rear motor of our 2022 MXLR failed after 4k miles. Towed to the SC 2 weeks ago and they just started working on it today. It’s been offline since 2pm today. I sense they needed to disconnect power to replace motor or inverter.

This happened to our 2022 MXLR today. About 4k miles. Fortunately we were in a parking lot and I was able to drive at 1mph to a safer spot waiting for the tow truck that came an hour later. With these kinds of issues, I’m not sure how I can be comfortable taking the Tesla to road trip.

Update in case anyone hits the same issue. Service acknowledged this issue and fixed it with some adjustment/alignment. They didn’t replace anything so I assume it was done by software. No more eye catching bright spots.

I’d keep the HomeLink. I have CarPlay via the Carlinkit device and the now discontinued Chamberlain HomeKit bridge. I use HomeLink to control and the CarPlay tile to check status.

I just logged in and saw EDD replaced with a message saying my delivery is on hold. I went into the account and removed the hold. The question is, who put the hold on behalf of me? I didn’t get any call, text, or email from Tesla lately.

Just found out my neighborhood ordered his LR 6 seater in Jan 2022. Delivered March 2022. Now considering jumping ship given my disappointing Nov 2022 - Feb 2023 EDD.

I got Nov 16 - Feb 8 for a 7 seater.
