many think the older model has poorer suspension, but this is up for debate. i noticed it immediately in same spec 3's, 2019 vs 2021. something to look for if you get to test drive.

i just got out of my rig and into friends. same setup just different year. wasnt anticipating anything but there was a noticeable difference. could be michelin made the tires better, my shocks are old... never know. hopefully a shop guy might see this thread and know something.

my neighbor got a 1 inch lift to help with driveway scrape. cost them $700. they didnt make any other mods or mention any drawback, but i wasnt pressing them on it. lifts are popular where i live as we have lots of steep hills and driveways with abrupt transitions that low cars 'center out' on.

I just rode in a 2021 with same wheels and tires as my 2019 and the difference was immediately noticeable, and I was not looking for a difference, just happened to go along for a ride on an errand. I wonder what the change was. Have searched the forums with no luck.
