This is interesting. Hearing lots of reports of just delivered cars feeling softer than anticipated. Wonder if these changes are now also coming out of China. Might be a reason all the demo cars are being sold off, or maybe it just makes economic sense 🤷‍♂️

I've just taken delivery of a tyre pressure gauge with release valve ;) I'm borrowing my father in law's Passat and it was driving like a complete sh!t box. Thought I'd check the tyre pressure and the fronts were at 60 psi! The old boy must be struggling to read the numbers!!

I had the same problem. It took me a week to get it resolved. You'll have to be very persistent! Check back with Tesla a few times to make sure it stays off. For me Tesla were saying that the lease co needed to do it and the lease co said the opposite. Tesla and third party lease companies speak...

Thanks for this. Confirms what Tesla told me. The person I was speaking to had to keep running off to talk to someone else so didn’t fill me with confidence but I won’t push it. Like you I was hoping I could bring it forward..... and maybe take out a step that could go wrong 🤔

I’m the same as you. Called Tesla and confirmed a collection in Staines on the 29th. Zen haven’t told me anything yet. All very odd.

I’d heard that the May batch was now due in June and June batch now due in July. Maybe that’s actually the case.

The issue I have is that they are not giving updates even when they have them. Not a big deal for us on here because our expectations are pretty well managed. The average customer is even more in the dark.

These lease companies are so full of it. If you have your RN call Tesla and ask for you VIN. If the car is built and in the uk then they should be able to tell you. My guess is that your car is in a car park in Shanghai or in a factory in bits.

Ha yes, strange that wasn’t available in the uk. They also stopped making cars with out the pop out handles and dropped the Highway assist from 2 to 1 when they ran out of sensors. Despite having a car on order I wasn’t told any of this. Tesla would never change the spec without telling us 🤔😂

I love the styling of the I5. I think a lot of people have had to make the switch. Hyundai must be losing a lot of orders from people who would be new to the brand because they can’t deliver cars - the AWD in particular. I’ve just stopped watching the I5 vs MY reviews that favour the Hyundai...

Yes that’s the one. I had an I5 on order and had to cancel when the delivery was pushed back to November.

You can call Tesla and quote your RN. I’m also with Zen and have spoken to them a few times but didn’t get much out of them. I didn’t even have an EDD on my ‘May’ order. I’d be interested to know how you get on if you do manage to speak to them.
