I'd have expected the app to work within the hour at the most if you've ordered direct. I don't have the Tesla charger but not having the app activated won't affect the charging, the Tesla chargers don't work with Tesla's exclusively.

From what I've seen, and read, they turn up on a small flatbead and the driver simply makes you sign and disappears. I don't think they'll have anything to do with showing you around the car and I don't think they hang around and wait for you to check it over either.

From what I've read, if the lease company set it up properly and your account is just a drivers account they have to add additional drivers. There's also some lost features too, nothing major though, I just don't think you get full access to all the driving stats etc.

Be careful with that tracker question, some insurance companies do insist that the car is connected to a system that's monitored at a central location. Tesla's tracker also requires the cars wheels to be moving, if its loaded on a flatbed, it's likely gone for good.
