Has anyone bought and used Drag DR-83 wheels?

I did not. Sticking with my current wheels for now. From the research I've done on the brand, they're a good value, but considering how much less expensive they are than similar wheels from other brands, I just can't get it out of my head that I might "get what I paid for" and have issues with them.

Has anyone bought and used Drag DR-83 wheels?

A larger hub size often isn't an issue and can usually be installed just the same as hub-centric wheels, or sometimes with the addition of hub-centric rings. I currently have aftermarket wheels that aren't hub-centric, and they haven't posed any issues for me in any way, so I'm not too worried...

Has anyone bought and used Drag DR-83 wheels?

Has anyone bought and used Drag DR-83 wheels? I know that Drag isn't a great brand, but the wheels do look strikingly similar to the Uberturbines with a smaller 19" form factor that I personally prefer. I know that wheels with a similar look are available from more reputable companies like...

Aftermarket Wheels for a Model Y Performance

It would probably only make a small percentage difference but yes, it would definitely throw off the speedometer.

MYP 21" Uberturbines for Sale Utah (Idaho, Wyoming)

Price: $2,700 I'm looking to sell my like new 21" MYP Uberturbine Wheels. These were only driven (gently) for 64 miles before being pulled off of my vehicle, and have no flaws. The stock Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 tires, the Tesla TPMS sensors needed, and stock lug nuts are included. All...

rear ended on a two month old car by a driver without drivers license and insurance policy, what are my options?

That's quite odd they didn't want to insure a Tesla. I just signed up with them for the MYP I will be taking delivery of this coming Wednesday. They actually had the best rates for the coverage I was looking for out of all of the companies I got quotes from.

Thinking of buying Model Y LR

Unfortunately, wait times are far longer than four months for a MYLR at this point :( that is coming from someone who placed their order in October of last year and still doesn't have one. Picking it up next Wednesday, though, so the wait has nearly come to an end!

    MYP Its really really fast!!!!

Lol I bet that would get them addressed faster haha

    MYP Its really really fast!!!!

I had thought it is widely known that ultra low-profile tires such as those on the 21s are far more susceptible to tire sidewall pinching damage and to the often accompanying wheel damage. Not a guarantee that 21s will get damaged or that smaller ones won't, but when you have at least an extra...

    MYP Its really really fast!!!!

Obviously, but for virtually all 18" diamater wheels (or all that I saw when I was looking, anyways), were going to make the wheel either slightly too large or too small because the perfect sidewall ratio needed for 245 mm or whatever tires isn't really made by anyone.

    MYP Its really really fast!!!!

That is the route I am going to take when I get my MYP in hopefully the next few weeks. Got some 19" TSW wheels. With the 18s you will have, do you know what, if any, the speedo difference will be between the two sets of wheels?
  15. M

    Thinking about Rims!

Mine will have all-seasons, so maybe that will make a difference, but I guess I'll see for myself how the 19s compare to the 21s real soon haha

Model Y deliveries delayed to missing chargeport ECU

Just had my delivery for a MYP delayed by another 2 weeks :(
  17. M

    Thinking about Rims!

I've also heard of cases like yours, which make me hope that I'm not making a mistake going to 19" wheels haha
  18. M

    Thinking about Rims!

If you could do a 19" version of the FC04 I think that is what I would go with. As I'm sure you know, it is very very common for MY owners to mention that 19" wheels make the ride much softer than 20" or 21" wheels. I myself am going with 19" TSW Sprint wheels to replace the 21" Ubers that come...

    Best Aftermarket Spoiler for MYP?

Lol if I can't find one that is highly recommended for reliability, I may have the PPF installers leave the spoiler off without installing an aftermarket one after they remove the OEM one to do their work haha
  20. M

    Best Aftermarket Spoiler for MYP?

I've seen a lot of issues on this forum and elsewhere regarding the Carbon Fiber spoiler that comes on the MYP. From what I've seen, there are tons of lifting issues, and often the spoilers will lift just days/weeks after being installed/replaced. There are tons of aftermarket ones available but...

Do you see much damage to the paint in areas that weren't covered by the PPF?

Which route did you go for blacking out the exterior Tesla emblems?
  24. M

    Full PPF Wrap vs Clearbra

Yup, protecting the front end of the vehicle is a must with the nose shape! Those random events that can damage any part of the vehicle is what I'm worried about running into, and why I think I will go with the full coverage. When I think about it as $1-$2/day to protect my vehicle and keep it...

    Full PPF Wrap vs Clearbra

That is a gorgeous vehicle, I can't wait to receive mine! Yeah, I'm also planning on keeping the vehicle for a long time, and don't really want to risk damage in areas that had been left unprotected. And with how your car looks with the matte wrap, I'm leaning pretty heavily in the full wrap...

    Full PPF Wrap vs Clearbra

It certainly is a tough one to make. Right now the app says I should be expecting delivery between today and May 30th, so assuming that is even somewhere in the ballpark, I've got to decide relatively quickly. Deciding on this is harder than deciding which Telsa to get lol
  27. M

    Full PPF Wrap vs Clearbra

I am trying to weigh the difference in cost between getting a full PPF wrap on a new MYP vs only having a clearbra installed. The shops in the area I live will charge me between $5,500 for the full wrap (normal finish) to $6,500 (stealth Xpel matte finish), whereas it will only be about $1600 to...

Vendor Bring On The Dirt Busters!

From what I've seen of the 3D Floor Mats, they cover pretty much every possible carpeted surface in the vehicle. Which areas of the vehicle are covered with your mats that aren't covered by 3D Floor Mats?

Are Mudflaps Needed if PPF will be Present?

I love the look you've got going! I wanted the black color but heard that keeping a black car looking clean is a full-time job, so I tried to keep it stealthy but lower maintenance by going with the gray instead. Hopefully, I don't end up regretting it lol
  30. M

Are Mudflaps Needed if PPF will be Present?

Yeah, that makes sense. Thanks for sharing! I guess I should have specified that I live in Northern Utah so we definitely get snow, ice, and the accompanying salt on the roads in the winter.

Vendor Bring On The Dirt Busters!

Will you be selling trunk and frunk mats for the Model Y 5 seat configuration as opposed to only for the 7 seat which I was currently able to find on your website?
  33. M

Are Mudflaps Needed if PPF will be Present?

I am very familiar with the process for the rear installation but think that only having mudflaps on the front will look weird. That's why I was hoping it wouldn't be necessary. Removing that 10mm bolt has caused a lot of people a lot of heartache lol I'm thinking I'll get Abstract Ocean or...

Are Mudflaps Needed if PPF will be Present?

There seems to be a consensus here haha. I'd hoped they wouldn't be needed just because I don't really like the look of them, but yeah there's not a point in getting PPF installed if it's still likely to get chewed up by the debris without mudflaps. Thanks, everyone!
  35. M

Are Mudflaps Needed if PPF will be Present?

I'm going to be taking delivery of a MYP in May (or so the app says right now haha). I will be getting the whole vehicle wrapped in XPEL Stealth PPF immediately after taking delivery. My main goal is to prevent any of that terrible rear door/rocker panel damage that I've seen so often on the...

Any Interest in 21" MYP Uberturbine Wheels with Tires & TPMS

I would also consider trading for a set of like-new induction wheels if anyone would like to do that.

Any Interest in 21" MYP Uberturbine Wheels with Tires & TPMS

I have a delivery range on a MYP that is between April 11-20th, and I'm going to replace the stock Uberturbine wheels as soon as I get the vehicle. I am in the Ogden, UT area and would prefer to do a local pickup but I can also travel around the state if needed or ship the items at the buyer's...
