I removed a seat stain from my black seats with a magic eraser, now it’s slightly lighter than the rest. How do I fix this?

As recommended by many other people on TMC, I removed a tough-to-get stain (more like dried on tree sap or something) from the black seats in my 2022 Model 3 using a magic eraser in conjunction with Hydro Silex plastic & leather cleaning spray. However, now that area of the seat is slightly...

Do I legally need permission from Tesla or the supercharger property owner to conduct Tesla mobile car washes?

I see your point and great analogy by the way haha. I guess the reason I’m asking is because if you look at the websites of mobile car washing businesses, most of them state they will come to your home, apartment or workplace to wash your car. I highly doubt that any of them get permission...

Do I legally need permission from Tesla or the supercharger property owner to conduct Tesla mobile car washes?

I agree with you 100% and I am planning on finding a business attorney to assist me with agreements and contracts to make sure I have all of my bases covered. From the sound of it the guy didn’t had anything in writing, according to him it was just a phone call with a Tesla employee who said...

Do I legally need permission from Tesla or the supercharger property owner to conduct Tesla mobile car washes?

I use the cordless Dyson V11 Animal Pro with the motorized upholstery attachment. I’ll probably upgrade to the V15 in the near future when I have an additional $800 to drop on that. Either way the V11 series is awesome! One Tesla owner whose car I vacuumed had cigarette butts, ashes, chips and...

Do I legally need permission from Tesla or the supercharger property owner to conduct Tesla mobile car washes?

I’m going to look into it further and gather more info. Maybe I’m misunderstanding you but he did not call Tesla in front of me, he just claimed that he called them before. I do find it hard to believe that it would be as easy as he said to get a hold of the right person at Tesla by calling...

Do I legally need permission from Tesla or the supercharger property owner to conduct Tesla mobile car washes?

I live in Santa Monica, where Tesla is building a first of it’s kind supercharger station with bathrooms among other amenities. I had an idea several months ago to start offering waterless mobile Tesla washes at various supercharger stations. I tested the waterless wash/wax on my 2022 M3...

Got a flat tire in Tijuana, Mexico

Turns out I’m getting BOTH tires for $500! I always purchase Mexican insurance before going over the border, they just informed me they will cover anything over the $500 deductible. I appreciate the info, good to know for future reference! Hopefully the next time I need tires it isn’t in an...

Got a flat tire in Tijuana, Mexico

Please read my last two posts. The system recalibrated after a few days and everything is fine. Also a Tesla technician told me that the different size tires will not damage the motor/drive system the way that it would with an ICE vehicle!

Got a flat tire in Tijuana, Mexico

Good news guys! After a few days all of my issues are gone and the car is driving like new, apparently it just needed some time to recalibrate the system to the newer tires with deeper tread depth. No more traction control warnings, sketchy deceleration, also the autopilot and regenerative...

Got a flat tire in Tijuana, Mexico

So I got some awesome and helpful information when I talked to a technician at the service center yesterday! He informed me that unlike AWD ICE vehicles, AWD Tesla’s have the dual motor/dual drive system that are independent. He said that while putting different size tires on isn’t optional and...

Got a flat tire in Tijuana, Mexico

Good to know! Hopefully if it happens again I’m within range of a Tesla Service Center

Got a flat tire in Tijuana, Mexico

Ntm the source where I got them for that much was actually Discount Tire, I figured I might as well add on the extended warranty while I’m at it. But yes with fees and that little thing called tax it definitely adds up.

Got a flat tire in Tijuana, Mexico

It’s on me? Guess where I got them?? DISCOUNT TIRE! I tried Costco but they couldn’t get those size tires in anytime soon and the Performance is pretty specific on what it requires and they’re not exactly the cheapest tires in the world..

Got a flat tire in Tijuana, Mexico

I’m wondering the same thing, the thing that sucks is I only have 4,995 miles on my current set and it cost me $1050 just to replace the two tires 🤦🏼‍♂️

Got a flat tire in Tijuana, Mexico

I just switched to a different set of wheels in the system and then switched it back to the 20” Übertines, unfortunately it didn’t get rid of the issue..

Got a flat tire in Tijuana, Mexico

So I just tried doing this, however no options came up to reset the TPMS. I also looked at the online user manual and the info they showed on resetting it didn’t bring me to the menu. Someone on another post said that I don’t have the option because it does it automatically due the fact that I...

    TPMS Reset Button Removed?

Thanks for the info, I could’ve sworn I’ve seen the reset button before but maybe I’m mistaken..

    TPMS Reset Button Removed?

I understand the TPMS doesn’t provide a readout until you drive it for a couple minutes or so, however the reset button should show up while in PARK, as it always has before. I will try driving it and see if it shows up..

    TPMS Reset Button Removed?

I got new tires on my Model 3 Performance. Since swapping them (same brand, model and size of the originals), I’m having traction control warnings and autopilot won’t engage. Someone suggested resetting the TPMS, however when I go to the menu it’s since been removed (I believe after the...

Got a flat tire in Tijuana, Mexico

I was considering this too, wish I could talk to the Tesla service center and ask them about it, but I’m sure as you know you can’t call them. My service appointment is a month out.. I’m also concerned if this will void my drive system warranty if it causes permanent damage??

Got a flat tire in Tijuana, Mexico

Thank you, I will give that a shot! I’m also going to try a hard reset too and see if that helps.

Hit a pothole and got 2 flats on my Model 3 Performance

The same exact thing JUST happened to me last week to my five month old 2022 Tesla M3P in Tijuana, it flattened BOTH of the driver side Pirelli tires (they got cut going from the rim). The thing that sucked is I couldn’t find a service to tow my car over the border at the time and the 235/35...

Got a flat tire in Tijuana, Mexico

I drove my 2022 Model 3 Performance to Tijuana last week, something I have done on at least 6 other occasions without incident. I always drive much slower and cautiously in TJ due to the bad roads (seriously the worst roads that I’ve seen in any part of the world, potholes and even chunks of...

Abandoned Model S at Huebner Oaks San Antonio, TX Supercharger

Is it just me, or would you guys NOT be surprised if a TSLA shorting hedge fund purchased this and set this up just to make Tesla look bad?? Lol

    Sentry Mode Triggering every minutes

Also as of a year ago, Ring has contracts with over 1800 (1 in 10) police departments in the country to give them live access to your security cameras. Apparently they give you the option to opt-out of this now, but I don’t trust a company that does this in the first place..
