From looking at the Viking passama schedule, it is going to NZ first and stopping at Port Kembla on the way back. So it's likely it's prioritising NZ orders for that vessel. AU could get some on, and the rest on the 24/10 ship.

Most of my interactions with tesla staff has always been positive. It's true they are more clueless then we are, but generally they are good folk dealing with situations outside their control. I suggest making that complaint.

We were supposed to get our cars in August, our app says aug-nov. People who ordered in Feb won't be happy with a December delivery. Thats 10months. And even worse still for those in the 6-9month and 9-12 month category.

If they go back to their historical schedule of 5th-8th, they'll make it in time for the 10/10 ship.

It can't be Jan as that's when they produce the car. Shipping+customs+delivery makes it Feb at the earliest. Same reason there's no deliveries for the 3 in april/june/Oct.

If they don't start by this upcoming week, it'll miss the 10/10 boat, and the next is 24/10 😮‍💨

I've driven both. Personally driving dynamics and acceleration is superior in the m3 and its noticeable. The Y is good for lots of cargo and interior space and ride height, but it's still drives very well for an SUV.
