Several times a week, I get into my car and the wifi is off. I need to click on the LTE logo and turn wifi on and then it connects to my autokit hotspot. Any idea how to keep the wifi on so that it connects to the Carlinkit automatically as soon as the device is ready?

Yep, TeslaAndroid is my preferred solution but I've been having a hard time getting my hands on a Pi. The T2C is filling in (decently) in the meantime.

Is there anyway to get CarPlay audio to play through the browser connection? Unless I switch the audio input of the car to Bluetooth, I can't get audio for Waze which means I can't listen to the car radio and use Waze at the same time.

Amazon has the T2C as well. It's cheap enough now that I think I'm going to give it a try until I can actually get a Pi 4. Still watching the progress on TeslaAndroid as that would be my preferred solution!

I'm hoping to get a pi soon and plan to order the low profile ICE cooler that comes with a case. My only concern is that the metal case will affect wifi. Some forum users have said that it works fine so I'm willing to give it a shot. If you do get yours first, please post about it!!

Some of these EDDs (any my own as well, even though I ordered 4 months ago) seem to be the same as the estimates from Tesla's website if I would order today! That doesn't seem quite right. Do you think our EDDs will pull back in or will people ordering today slip furtehr out?

The problem with that one that people say the software and graphics are subpar. The one in this thread at least seems to support other map software.

Wow - I have nothing on some of you long-timers. It's still disappointing to get pushed, especially when the EDD was already pretty far out. I had expected things to start picking up speed, not get even further delayed!

Funnily enough, I'm seeing threads on Reddit telling people to switch to 7 seaters so that they are more likely to be delayed into 2023 and thus be eligible for the possible new EV credit. So these super long 7-seater lead times have become a feature :)!

My generic December - Feb 23 EDD just re-updated to a "real" sounding range: December 15 - Jan 10. This is within the original EDD specified when I ordered in April.

Even with FSD, I don't think the baby will be allowed to drive so you should be fine :). In all seriousness though, nearly a full year wait for a 2021 order seems crazy - I'm sure (well, hopeful) that you get it much sooner!
