What if you are in Arizona in the summer but want the car hotter then outside temp? Then the battery would overheat if it was setup like that. :tongue:

They are extra seats rear facing in the back, I would say the easiest way to get to them would be through the rear hatch.

Those are going to be an option, and they aren't stupid they are very practical for large families. If you don't like the size you can always wait for Tesla to come out with a smaller model.

Well it is useful if you have arms full of groceries and are headed inside and don't want to come back out to close it.

Actually slightly leaning back is better for your back then shoulders over hips, which is actually a very unnatural seating position.

1) 360 degree camera - not a must, but should be an option 2) cross-traffic warning, for reversing into traffic flow - useful, great option 3) built-in fridge - don't really care if this is available 4) Night Vision system - should be an option 5) proximity keys - standard 6) automated...

Just to elaborate on dsm's post, you are not buying shares from Tesla per say, the only way to do that is during a public offering. But yes, you can buy shares at market value.

Why would it be less arduous? Apps on the iPhone are not hard to use at all. In fact, Nissan and GM's apps are pretty much the same on both platforms, and I suspect Tesla would be no different.

Either Teardrop or Angel would make for a great car ad. Although I am not sure Tesla should go with the darker themed sort of car ads, which I feel like a Massive Attack song would lend itself to. The Model S would look great in silver driving over a black background, however.

I feel bad for Henry Fisker, his company seems to have setback after setback. To have your vision of the perfect car not even ready to give test drives in when it was supposed to have come out years ago.

Does anyone know if this store is fully open yet? On my last trip to NYC i stopped by only to find it was by appointment only and still undergoing construction. (Though that disappointment was outweighed by turning around to see a Tesla silently pulling up to the curb, the first time I saw one...

They did, but logically that doesn't make nearly as much sense now as it did then. They still have a shot at being a big luxury brand. Maybe 10 years or so down the road they can start another brand for econo-models

Don't be so arrogant. Tesla is an electric car, and that complicates things quite a bit, there are legitimate differences as far as charging goes--gas is gas no matter the country. They are also very low volume.

I am REALLY looking forward to the Nissan Leaf, as much as I love Tesla, this will probably be the first electric car I actually buy. (I just wish its exterior wasn't so ugly.)
