I installed the RPM Tesla ones which are basically the same light. Same gap on mine. I wouldn't worry about it.

Did you use a slip solution (mixture of 10-15% baby shampoo and the rest water) when applying? Mine did not look like that afterwards.

I'm in the bay area. Ordered 3/18. MYP MSM/Black, no other options. VIN received 6/17. Got the text to schedule a delivery date on 6/18. Picked it up at the Fremont factory on 6/20. It all happened so fast for me. Amazing vehicle! Hope you get yours soon!
