Had Tesla Service have a look at my missing trailer mode while I was in the area. They confirmed it was missing and enabled it via their laptop. Was done at the service centre, but it would have also been possible remotely

I can't seem to find Trailer Mode in the settings. It should be under Controls > Pedals & Steering > Trailer Mode, but that option does not exist for me. Is it only visible when I have something plugged into the electrical port?

There are two clips/holes at the bottom. Insert flat heat and lever out the panel. It's not hard, just be careful not to slip and scratch the flocked surface

Tesla won't insert the tube, but that is easy enough if you get the correct size :) Tesla will however replace the trunk seal.

Part number turns out to be MY(1497681-95-A) and it costs AUD 24.55 and AUD 27.00 for installation :) I installed the smaller diameter tubing and it's gotten much better. Still going to replace the seal and doing is all over again, but I am happy where the boominess is now. Maybe in the future...
