    The M3 terrifies BMW

Saying why wait for a Model 3 when you can buy an EV with 15 mile range is ridiculous. Especially when that car starts at $45k. Its no surprise they are lucky to sell 30 a month. You would think when 300,000 reservations are made for a long range EV they might realize what people actually want...

Could lower models be gifted ludicrous mode someday?

Nope. Ludicrous is a fuse that allows the motors to draw more from the battery. If you don't have the P motors it's not going to make a difference.

Seeing a lot of BMW electrics in my area...

They've been discounting the hell out of them. Thats why I got mine, it's no Model S but for the money its hard to beat.

60KWh battery for the Bolt... ¿maybe to big for base model 3?

Tesla owners don't know how good they have it!!!!

I've had the same problems with my i3. Every dealer is clueless about it. I had a motor mount break. It took almost 3 weeks for them to get it fixed. They would order parts, installed them, talk to some engineers, order more parts and repeat. Then after I got the car back I had some warnings...

Autopilot lane keeping still not available over 6 months after delivery

That's probably what it does. It doesn't seem to take into account the curb or anything on the side. Mine has run itself into snowbanks and almost curbed itself. The only useful part is it measuring spots as you go by to see if you would fit in.
