Any news about costing by kWh instead of by time to supercharge?

Seen some reports on twitter that this may be going live tonight. Sounds like it could be coupled with a price increase though. Apparently if you select a supercharger location in car belowThe current rates it says price change at midnight tonight so I guess we’ll see later on.

Exactly $63 more a month for MY"P", do it?

I have a model 3 performance I picked up in June and it only took 4 days to damage the 2 20” uberturbines on the passenger side thanks to a pothole. It also gashed both tires. So my advice would be if you were going to swap the tires (which is what I was thinking about doing) do it right away...

Any news about costing by kWh instead of by time to supercharge?

https://driveteslacanada.ca/news/measurement-canada-to-allow-per-kwh-billing-at-ev-chargers-before-the-end-of-2022/ just saw people tweeting about this. Any chance the cost actually comes down though? I think right now supercharging can be like 2x-5x more than other DC fast charger?

New Model 3 - Rattling / Noise Issues

I’ve had my M3P about 6 weeks now. I seem to have the speaker grill rattle in the front left on anything but smooth roads and there is some noise I can’t tell if it’s in the door or the b pillar by my head but i only hear it if I’m doing 80km/hr (50mph) or faster. I don’t hear anything at low...

    Ottawa to Victoria in a M3 SR+

Sheet! So this was your friends 3sr+ that you were driving? not sure I would be happy about downgrading the lights. Although I’ve only driven my car with the matrix headlights a couple of times at night and didn’t find them that great. I had my Civic 3 years and rarely ever had to use my...

    Ottawa to Victoria in a M3 SR+

Thank you for the info Kuroneko. I took a look at the EA map and see they are clustered along the 401 from Windsor to QC and then Calgary to Vancouver at the moment. I’ll have to get there app and maybe try one near me just to figure it out. I’ve only used Tesla and a couple of Flo chargers...

    Ottawa to Victoria in a M3 SR+

What kind of speed were you seeing with the CCS adapter when it was working? Wow you saved quite a lot avoiding some of the superchargers. I am doing a similar trip in September (Hamilton -> Vancouver and back). I visited the east coast in June doing about 5500km and I spent I believe $467...

    CCS Adapter for North America

Appreciate the response I have already gone ahead and ordered again from Harumio. I'm sure someone out there would be interested though.

    CCS Adapter for North America

Yeah I have already put another order in through Harumio after talking with them. I'm not even sure how long I'll keep the car but I know the adapter would have saved me almost 6 hrs at a level 2 charger for enough juice to make it back to a supercharger(and the rest of a night sleeping in a...

    CCS Adapter for North America

Yeah. I was just reading back through and they sent me a confirmation email originally saying that there might be duty / taxes extra at my end due to being in Canada which I saw. That is pretty much standard procedure these days. I didn't realize they were actually asking me to give an okay...

    CCS Adapter for North America

I ordered from Harumio on the 19th, and then saw the order was cancelled and refunded today. I ending up eating almost $30 though because of the changes in exchange rates I guess. Huge waste of time. Is there another source for the CCS adapters?

    Supercharger - New Minas NS

Would be nice. I was at east ferry today for a whale watching tour. I got there from the Enfield Supercharger with about 25% left. Got back to Digby with 15% and now pullin 7kw until I’ve got enough to make it back to Enfield. Ive got a ccs and 14-50 and 30 amp RV adapter on the way but so...

Enhanced Autopilot is live in Canada for $6,400

I’ve had my M3P for a week now. Currently have put about 3000km on it. I’m about 1/2 way through an eastern trip and based on what I’ve experienced so far with AP in general there is no way I’d give Tesla any more money. I’ve lost track of the # of phantom breaks. Other than being able to...

    Canadian Stores and Service Centers

Do any of the service centres or Tesla stores carry accessories? (Things likes mat, the sunshades etc). I’m picking up my car from Oakville on the weekend. Wondering if I should order online and wait for shipments or if I can try my luck at the store?

    Financing Tesla vehicles in Canada

So I jumped on an Model 3 performance that was showing in inventory. Seems they are offering 5.2% 72 months through RBC. I indicated 20k down, but I'm still waiting to hear what they'll offer for my trade in (I'm assuming 15-18k (3 year old civic with 35k)). Any idea how long they usually...
