Now that legacy S/X's are getting v12, how long of a wait for non-FSD owners to get a free trial?

The previous owner of my 2017 75D updated MCU and hardware. I have previously subscribed to FSD Beta in the past for a couple months.

I've seen a couple posts where owners of 2019's have indicated that they have gotten their free trial, but nothing older. Who has gotten it with a 2018 or older? I have a 2017 S 75D and am keeping my fingers crossed.

I saw this one cruising the streets of Troy, MI just north of Detroit.

That shoulder sure looks like a lane to me. Especially with the tire marks from multitudes of vehicles using as such. I think that I would make the turn using the ‘shoulder’ in my Jeep.

I rescheduled my mobile appointment to a Service Center visit at the new Ann Arbor MI location. I was in and out in about two hours, Best of all, my bill was $307 due to some mix up. :cool: I headed straight to a Shell branded CCS charger and everything worked flawlessly. (2017 S 75D)

I was able to schedule my mobile appointment for my Model S for the adapter retrofit. About a one week wait.

Tesla will do it. I had the Clarkston MI service center do an inspection the week after I purchased my used ‘17 75D. It was around $200.

I'd use a shop vac to suck any standing water out, blot the inside with a towel until fairly dry, and then use a fan to finish the drying. Keep an eye on it to see if the wetness reappears.

I removed the rear spoiler from my Model S. It’s just not for me. It’s in ok shape, a little cloudy. I’m sure it could be buffed up and look good. You’ll have to removed the residue from the back and provide new. I’m in Michigan and I’m not interested in shipping. If anyone in the area...

Many hotels, restaurants, and big box retailers have public WiFI. You might try that.

I have it on the 2017 Model S 75D with AP3 hardware and a FSD subscription. I think the 100 miles on autopilot might be a thing. I was offered FSD beta after 120 or so miles. Could be a coincidence but most of the folks here that say they have not been offered also don’t have 100 miles in.

I got in with a subscription (first month) in my 2017 75D

I cannot give you an accurate answer as I bought my S four months ago and do not have great info from the previous owner(s). I can says that the mobile ranger who programmed my fobs said that I have hardware 3.0

I have a 2017 Model S. My update with FSD Beta downloaded yesterday.

I had a mobile appointment to program two fobs, both from third parties. It took the tech about half an hour and I was charged a total of $18.50.

I bought a Model S 75D from a guy in Tennessee (I'm in Michigan) He only could find one key fob at the time, but came through and found one online that he sent me. I also bought one online because it took him a while to ship. I made an appointment to have the two new fobs programmed, waited a...

Not sure about that, pikeman; my 2008 Jeep Wrangler has over 330,000 miles on it with the original engine. And those have been some tough (every mountain range east of the Mississippi) miles.

I stopped in for a few minutes of charging yesterday afternoon. It was quite busy with six other folks hooked up. Charge rate was slow at about 120 mph at 50% charge.
