I just texted the number from my order the link to the inventory car I wanted, and stated that I want that car matched to my account. They didn’t ask any questions, they did it in about 5 minutes.

Took delivery this morning of my LR. Was perfect, no issues. Quick and easy. Had matrix and ultrasonics.

Well folks, I have news. I claimed an inventory vehicle in Miami that is the same config, just an LR instead of a P. Heading down to pick it up tomorrow afternoon. I can’t keep waiting, and I’m not going to take a $70k+ vehicle without the ultrasonics.

https://www.tesla.com/support/transitioning-tesla-vision I just now heard of this - removing ultra sonic sensors is a terrible move. If/when I get a VIN, my first question will be if my vehicle has them. If it does not, I will be rejecting and cancelling my order. This is an absurd move.

I have definitely seen multiple instances of people receiving their vehicles or the same config after me. I have no idea what goes on with their allocation process. I understand maximizing their deliveries in a way that yields the highest return for them, but when you see vehicles of the same...

Tomorrow is day 100. Still nothing. EDD window starts on the 10th, and of course, I expect another push like the last several times. Very close to just cancelling the order and getting something else.

In my experience so far, EDDs have been nothing but something they just choose to display on the page. They are essentially meaningless - at least in my case.

Hi everyone! Just to keep everyone updated on my journey who is interested. MSM/Black/EAP, OD 6/27, EDD is October 10-October 24. I have a feeling I’ll get pushed again come October 10th, but I’ll stay hopeful.

They haven’t always responded to me. I just blow them up and complain when they don’t. I don’t think I should feel bad either, because I am a customer making a purchase over $70k and they treat it like a trip out to the grocery store.

Yup. I’m not surprised. If their EDDs carried any weight, I would’ve received my vehicle weeks ago. It’s all just nonsense.

I totally feel you. OD 6/27 for me, still no updates other than continued pushback of EDD upon entering the first day of my 2 week windows. 3rd two week window starts on 9/22, fully expecting a push that morning to 10/6-10/20.

I will always buy gray cars in the future I think. When I had a black car, I absolutely hated how hard it was to keep clean! Gray hides all the dust and dirt very well.

Yes, you should set it to cash and seek financing once a VIN is assigned. You are unlikely to have your vehicle in the next 30 days, so the financing offer will expire anyway.

Coming up on 7 weeks since OD. No change since my 2 week window was assigned on 8/5 - 8/25-9/8.

Hey all. Woke up to an EDD change today. OD: 6/27 OD EDD: June-August EDD 6/28: August 13-September 17 EDD 7/21: August 20-September 17 This is my first change so far since the day after order. I’m hoping delivery day does occur sometime in August.

I don’t think there will be much changing. Just the same old little things. Perhaps cooled seats? I can’t see much changing otherwise though, but you never know. It’s the reality of purchasing a vehicle though, there are changes in every years models.
