    Best 19 tires replacement

I'm on my third Tesla (Model S going to wifey, I'm taking a Model 3) 2013 Model S 85: OEMs lasted 45k miles. The tires needed replacing, annoying rear wheel drive squeel, other defects, and no autopilot gave us enough reason to trade it in... Still a great car regardless and cornering felt...

New Model X on display at Panasonic booth CES 2015?

Cool working prototype! No touching though.

    Vacaville to Harris Ranch?

Drove Sonoma (Fairmont) to Harris Ranch on full charge. Disparity between Rated Range and GPS dropped from about 50-60 miles down to 4/5... Drove fairly quickly majority of the way. But with 40 miles left, disparity between rated range/GPS was only about 15 miles. Last 30 minutes/30 miles of the...

How does the Gigafactory equate to $100B of economic impact to Neveda?

I'm assuming the increased demand from Nevada's lithium mining operations are also factored into those numbers.

    Top 20 Best-Selling Cars In America - August 2014 & hypothetical 2014 Model 3

Interesting thought... Supposedly they'll be making 500,000 vehicles by 2020 right? Lets say half of that goes to Model S/X production (125,000 per year each or around 10,000 per month). Rest goes to the Model III at 250,000 per year (20,000 per month), you're looking at 20,000 of the vehicles...

    BMW i3 at a Supercharger

Here's an interesting video on YouTube comparing and testing EVs driving through some water. Really just seems like a bunch of owners out there having fun, but the BMW i3 looked seriously awful in these test runs. After watching this, I could never recommend that car to anyone. Might be a fun EV...

    Safety While Charging

I was actually just in Vegas this past weekend and ended up skipping the LV supercharger altogether. Don't know how long your stay will be, but Palazzo offers a high power wall charger if you valet and they're good about not unplugging your car until it's fully charged. Good luck!

    Hood won't release

I've experienced that just once. Not quite sure what happened but at the time we pack our trunk pretty tightly for the road trip, so I attributed the jamming to something maybe getting caught in there. (Had a pillow and some jackets stuffed up there) I ended up pressing down to fully lock the...

    "i3 vs Tesla" HK Review

Saw this video on this forum of water testing all the EVs. Immediately told my friends never to get the I3 after because I just imagine a BMW spinning violently after hitting a puddle. Der Report Verlag E-Car Test und Fahrtraining - YouTube

    Army of supercharger employees

Totally agree with mibaro2! I was just thinking about that! And now I have to go google these AAA battery chargers... Thanks!

    Army of supercharger employees

Thanks Durban. Love the topic of conversation. This is kind of straying off a bit, but I think that one of the major fears of people who don't drive EVs is the thought of running out of juice and sitting by the side of the road waiting for a tow to the nearest charger. Maybe if Tesla could...

    Army of supercharger employees

I think national banking institutions would be wise to invest in superchargers and that would give the banks the potential of bringing in wealthy enough clientele. Doesn't seem like Tesla is targeting entire chains and seem to be throwing dots on a map for which spots would make the math work...

    NADA getting desperate

I would gladly pay Tesla $600 a year for service over paying dealerships for the ridiculous "service" they attempt to rake you for. Example of me bringing in wife's new Lexus for oil change/maintenance. Starts with me trying to understand how a simple oil change is $130 (I ask myself... what...
