As a owner from Sept 2022 of a M3P I absolutely noticed when I had regen turn off on 2 occasions (1x 100% battery and 1x regen down a mountain to the point it temp deactivated) It was very jarring so that is excellent feature I hope it appears in the UK soon.

I deliberately picked a super boring name for my M3P. Knowing many others will have names like... "Stormtrooper" Or "Lightning" or whatever... So I picked the name "Keith", a boring name for a car that is anything but boring.

I didn't spend £60k+ on a car to save money... That's really a fool errand... No way does spending that much count as "saving money" It'll pay me back in it's general awesomeness... Its lower running costs a re a side benefit but not the main factor for me.

My understanding is car dealers can get batches of numbers plates that they can then allocate to cars on the day... So Tesla will have a batch of 72 plates a week or so before september, so they can allocate a 72 to the car and let you know it in advanced... But they will only register the car...
