I''m leaving Virginia in 2 weeks and headed up to Midland and then Lansing for the MSU Homecoming. Hope they have turned power on by then......sure wish the one outside Flint was operational too but we're getting there!! Thanks for the updates!

Just tried calling the Fairfield, they're sold out, no rooms available.....will go online and start checking for other nearby hotels....

Without doing the research, does anyone know off the top of their heads a hotel south of the drive-in with a charging station? It will be too far for us to return home after the movies so thinking about a hotel on the way towards Lynchburg.....any suggestions?

Yep, it's working great! Stopped there twice, once on the way to Michigan, 7/28, and again on the return trip to VA, 8/6. Both times at night so we couldn't enjoy the view. Denny's and Burger King right there if you need a snack.
