They seem to be working again now. I had force close the app on my iPhone and it's now connected to the car

I did an online change a few hours ago from my current fixed IO to the new variable. It said the change had been accepted, but it's sitting there saying they are going to book a smart meter exchange! Think I'll wait until tomorrow and if it's not changed give them a call.

I got this message yesterday but didn't receive an email. I messed around with the charge limits on the car and in the app, but the message wouldn't go away. I still got an IO schedule last night and it charged to the set % but the message is still there now.

I'm on IO and the IHD shows the off-peak rate only. I've now moved to the gas tracker so the IHD also has the wrong rate for that as well! So apart from showing consumption, it's pretty much useless.

Have you thought about cancelling it and ordering a new one from inventory? there are quite a few new RWDY's with white interiors and you'd have it sooner than end-Feb - you might even save some money!

Looks like octopus have some issues with Jan billing. Our IO bill for Jan is over £7k, they think we used 17,220kwh on the 11th Jan! Twitter seems to show others reporting similar.

I only charge a couple of times a week and I've not noticed any major drain from just leaving it on, I only switch it off if I'm going away or leaving the car somewhere for a week or so.

Not long after picking up my MY I noticed that one of the b-pillar cameras kept getting condensation inside. I put in a service request and they replaced it. I've not experienced condensation since.

you can switch that off, go into the Octopus app, click the profile picture top left, then devices, IO, scroll to the bottom and you can switch smart charging off.

I have a zappi and it's left in fast charge mode with nothing else set and the only setting on the car is the charge % level My routine is plug the car in after 5pm, open the Tesla app and watch the charge build to 32amps then stop the charge (if IO doesn't get there first), open the octopus...

On the rare occasions where I don’t get a slot or I plug in earlier than 5pm I find going into the Tesla app, starting a charge then stopping it after a few minutes gets me a schedule shortly after.

as I posted earlier, you don't have the option if you aren't the primary key holder/owner - shows on my wife's phones, but not mine. Being leased might be the issue, maybe another lease customer could confirm. (we are iPhone users)

Found to my pain that this only works if you're the primary key holder/owner. So it shows on my wife's app, who couldn't give a hoot and I can't see it, I have to borrow her phone to look.

When the model Y started being delivered with a parcel shelf these began showing as not compatible. I'm not aware of anyone with a parcel shelf that's tried them, but if someone has, let us know as I wanted some but was put off by the message.

IO is doing okay for me at the moment, the average unit cost is .28p, so under the price cap. I've load-shifted some things, probably a few more things that could be done but an 850-litre coral reef in the house probably doesn't help!

I was looking at the prices yesterday and spotted that so added the Agile tariff to the octopus compare app. It says my average kwH cost for the past month would have been .1006p on agile, saving about £215 against the IO tariff. I did look at agile yesterday and they have stopped new sign-ups...

From what I've seen the 5hr go faster tariff has gone and they are still offering the 4hr GO but it's no longer fixed, it's changed to a flexible tariff. IO also looks like it's now flexible.

Cheers I will take a look at that. TBH I’m not that bothered about getting the updates quickly. Ironically, I got in the car earlier and an update to 2022.36 was waiting for me, not done it yet.

From what I can make out there isn't any way to tell or force it. I've had a MY since Sept and it's had one update to 28.2 and nothing since, despite checking from time to time.

The new price for Go off-peak is 12p and IO is 10p, the standing charge and peak are the same price. It also looks like both are now flexible tariffs rather than fixed ones.

I drove from Bluewater to Essex in mine, it had calibrated by the time I joined the A127. I then had a camera replaced in the side pillar as it was getting condensation in it, which meant they needed calibrating again and I drove about 20 miles down the A127 and back and they had calibrated...

I took out gap insurance with ALA and went with vehicle replacement plus. I found a discount in a post somewhere on here but a day after doing it there was another code which gave more off. I’ve had 3 cars on pcp but never told the insurance company. Have never seen anything that said I needed to.

From what I’ve found/understand TACC/AP does ignore speed changes. When using TACC/AP if you hold the right stalk down for about 1 second it will change to the limit displayed in the car. Not sure if EAP or FSD handle it differently.

I booked mine in for a trip to the service centre, thinking the same, then they changed it to a home visit.

It does look like that on the app, login to the website and you will see the off peak rate, it doesn’t show in the app App Website
