Tein coilovers and larger tires installed MYP

When I lowered the car with the stock wheel set up with spacers I had no rubbing issues. Altering the wheel size would have possibly rubbed but only minor in the front. I have 20mm spacers I have that I can sell to you.

Tein coilovers and larger tires installed MYP

Mostly. I still hear it sometimes but not as often as it was doing it before. Now it’s mostly on the front passenger vs driver side. I’ll live with it for now.

Tein coilovers and larger tires installed MYP

Yup. They got torn off going over a speed bump so they are only in the rears now lol

Tein coilovers and larger tires installed MYP

They were adjusted before leaving the shop. I am going today to get a 2 finger gap in the front tires and correct some binding on my driver side. Makes a huge thung sound when I first turn the wheel in the morning

Tein coilovers and larger tires installed MYP

Ride quality is much better. A few complaints. Don’t lower your car too much. The front has settled much more than I thought. Started at a 1.5 finger gap. Now I can’t even fit a finger in there. With the potholes in Dallas, I have destroyed both my inner fenders on the front (already replaced)...

Tein coilovers and larger tires installed MYP

I recommend. They are awesome. Give them a call. Also I am not at liberty to share the price since it was a recommendation from a close friend of mine that uses them regularly.

Picture of your Model Y - Right Now!

When you are referring to a monumental difference for it to be worth the effort, are you talking about the purchasing and having the coilovers installed? You would have to ask yourself that question. It was really bothering me to see wheel gap. So for me to walk out to the car now sitting how I...

Tein coilovers and larger tires installed MYP

If you look at the site, it says they are out of stock for the model Y. If I’m not mistaken, model and and Y are the same part number. Either way if I’m wrong, ZEVCENTRIC has them on their website...

Picture of your Model Y - Right Now!

Tien coilovers are settled. Upgraded my tires scorpion zero 265/40/21 front 295/35/21 rear. I removed the 20mm spacers I had on with the stock tires because it was rubbing and sticking out. They looked great and were perfect on factory tires. Couple items I’m trying to get rid of: I have 4...

Tein coilovers and larger tires installed MYP

For my preference, the front is perfect. I want to lower the back another half inch. With the bigger tires and the 21s, it fills the wheel gap perfectly.

Tein coilovers and larger tires installed MYP

Tein coilovers and larger tires installed MYP

They recommended right in the middle. 8 from stiffest setting. It’s 16 ways adjustable. You can change the ride height which I did. Pretty sure you can keep the stock height

    Zevcentric has them 👌🏼

Tein coilovers and larger tires installed MYP

Had Tein coilovers installed and also swapped out my stock summer tires for all seasons. Due to limited stock on tires, I went with Pirelli Scorpion Zero 265/40/21 front and 295/35/21 rear. Prior to upgrading the tires, I was running 20mm spacers. Due to the larger tires, I had to take the...

Tein Flex Z front shock mount

After adding the new tires to the car (265/40/21 front 295/35/21 rear) with the 20mm spacers, the stance was way too aggressive. Had rubbing issues with the front. I removed the spacers, and now the car has no rubbing issues. What do you guys think about the ride height? Front has barely 1...

Tein Flex Z front shock mount

I’ll be checking them after the install. Crossing my fingers. I’m pretty sure I saw somewhere on here someone with 265/40/21 and it was a super tight fit but they didn’t rub. I’m hoping that’s the case. I tried your link but it didn’t work for some reason. I went on tire rack and Michelin does...

Tein Flex Z front shock mount

By the way guys, Zevcentric is where I purchased my coils and spacers from. They have been a huge help from the beginning answering all my questions and concerns. Shout out to them. I’m going with 265/40/21 front 295/35/21 rear. I know most people will ask why the difference from the 40 and 35...

Tein Flex Z front shock mount

I was told by the shop that installed them that the provided c spanners do not work for the rear. Any validity to this?

Tein Flex Z front shock mount

Easy to adjust the rear a half an inch solo? I have access to all the tools needed. Any tips or anything to look for when doing it? Thanks

Tein Flex Z front shock mount

All washed up. Waiting for the larger tires to be installed Tuesday. More than likely going to adjust the height of the rear and lower a half an inch. Front is perfect as as.

Tein Flex Z front shock mount

Everything is installed but we’ve been having crazy snow and ice storms in Dallas. I’ve ordered new tires to replace the summer tires which get installed Tuesday. Went with 265/40/21 front 295/35/21 rear. I will see if height needs to be adjusted after I see what the car looks like with the...

Tein Flex Z front shock mount

Hey guys. Maybe one of y’all can help me out with this. None of the alignment shops seem to have the original spec for alignment for the model y. Everyone keeps telling me to take it to Tesla for the alignment but I really don’t want pay their prices. The shops did say if I can provide an...

Tein Flex Z front shock mount

You’re talking about the zevcentric website? You can add them to the package. The reason I didn’t add them was because they didn’t have the black color in stock. They only had the blue. I know you’re probably not going to see it but I just didn’t want blue parts clashing with the red paint and...

    Post Coilover install alignment

I’m in Dallas. If anyone knows an alignment shop that can do an alignment without having to take it to Tesla, that would be great. I hate the service center there

    Post Coilover install alignment

Hey everyone. I am about to get some Tein coilovers installed with some adjustable rear camber arms and spacers. All the shops I was getting quoted on the install told me they cannot do an alignment on the car after it settles and that I would have to take it to Tesla for that because they don’t...

Picture of your Model Y - Right Now!

I appreciate it. Got it from rpmtesla.com, they have a few pretty nice options that are affordable. My stock spoiler was already detaching 2 months after purchasing the car so I figured since I’m going to pull it off anyway, why not upgrade. This one was the Razzo. I got it in the gloss carbon...

Keep me posted too. It’s either the Tiens or the H&R springs. Just need to confirm how much they lower the performance Y

I’m still trying to weigh my options and get also the I for before making a commitment. Eibachs don’t accomplish the look I want. For sure 20mm spacers will be on the set up.

Picture of your Model Y - Right Now!

I saw the long range figures but does that equate to a half inch difference all the way around for the performance? 1.2 front and 0.9 rear?

Picture of your Model Y - Right Now!

Anyone on here know what drop you get with h&r lowing springs for a model y performance? Having issues finding that info. I know you get 0.6 front 0.8 rear on Eibach springs. Thanks
