Interesting, I just put my spec in for a new order (Black LR with white interior) and it says delivery Mar-Apr 2023... I still have an EDD Feb-May 2023 for my order made in July 22.

The exact spec of vehicle that I'd like is in inventory in Queensland, I'd be curious about the possibility of buying it interstate and driving it back from Brisbane.

Is demand really tapering off in Australia? Are they any closer to clearing the backlog, there are a few cars in inventory and yet people still waiting for cars ordered almost a year ago. Are we expecting any more big shipments into Port Kembla soon? I’m hoping that I’ll have a car next month...

Just an FYI for anyone considering changing colours etc, the message I got was "You would move to a different queue (the queue of people who ordered that different specification), but the priority is still ordered from your original order date."

Would anyone know if it's feasible to buy a car from a different state without having a residential address there? Starting to wonder whether I should try and get an inventory LR from Victoria and then collect it from there and reregister it here.

I find it a bit bizarre that the there is inventory for the vehicle I've ordered (M3LR White) in various states, except NSW. Can you change your order to one of the vehicles in stock without losing a deposit?

Yes, the model year vs the compliance year are different. It's to do with the features (removal of ultrasonic sensors etc)

I read elsewhere that builds after October 4th are the MY23 version, not sure if thats correct though.

Does anyone know which Australian garage door openers/mechanisms are compatible with the Tesla Automatic Garage Opener? I'm in the process of building a house and am keen to have a compatible garage door.

I thought I missed out on the charger as I ordered not the 30th July? I've probably gone overkill, but wanted to make sure I'd covered all bases. If we like the Tesla 3, we may consider buying a Tesla Y as well.

I'm curious to know whether anyone has had any issues with ground clearance and steep driveways (particularly around the transition) with the Tesla 3.

So, I've purchased a Tesla Wall Connector, Tesla Mobile Charging Cable and a Mennekes Type 2-Type 2. I presume that means I'm all set for when the 3LR finally arrives? Thats A$1500 all up just to be able to charge the vehicle.

The conduit will be there, but otherwise no. The builder wasn't willing to supply the panels and inverters we wanted, in addition they add a 20% markup on pretty much anything you get through them.
