Is there a setting that prevents the rear AC from always starting in auto mode on refreshed MX? I have the Sync setting enabled for the rear AC but it doesn't seem to make a difference.

I got rear ended two months ago and repairs haven't even started because we are waiting on read body floor panel, part number 1590904-S0-B. Tesla has no estimated delivery date for the part either. Do I have any options here besides waiting?

It was actually a timing issue, if the seat sensor didn't detect that I wasn't sitting on the seat before I closed the door, then the car would remain on. After they changed the sensor the car recognizes I'm not on the seat immediately, so it was definitely a faulty sensor.

After a months long battle with Tesla, they finally replaced my seat sensor, and that was the root of the issue. I provided so much proof that the issue was the seat sensor from the beginning, its pretty frustrating.

They replaced the sensor, but the issue still persists. It's quite frustrating that they have attempted twice to fix it but can't. I reached out to SC again and they are basically saying just drop the car off again, but they don't have any other theories on what it can be. Regarding the seat...

@shingles this was exactly the issue! The FWD was indeed rubbing against the rear wheel arch, right at the corner, if I place my hand in between the FWD and rear wheel arch towards the bottom the sound stopped. Thanks! I will try out the felt tape you suggested

Im not sure its on the door, I rarely sit in the back seat or passenger seat, but while driving it sounds like its under the driver seat or somewhere in between the driver side middle row seat and the drivers seat. I will try riding in the back seat and see if I can pin point the area.

Unfortunately this was not the issue for me, I pulled off the speaker and the FW release wire was pinned in between the speaker mount and the foam, and was not extending onto the speaker. But I pulled it out of the speaker mount through the foam just incase to see if it would fix the problem...
