I can concur, I test drove an MYP and an M3P back to back before I settled on my M3P. The MYP cornered like it was on stilts while the M3P just feels a lot more glued to the road.

I got the FSD download last night approximately 24 hours after requesting it.

I just did a one month subscription to FSD beta to try it out again, my car also had just installed 2022.44.25.3. I'd expect that I'll get the beta software within the next 1-2 days. Will update here when I do if I remember to.

I choose DWS06+ and have been happy, had them on several previous cars as well and have driven them in the middle of the summer and through 3" of snow.

As far as the tire model goes, I'd recommend Continental DWS06 Plus, I've put 50K miles on multiple sets of them across multiple cars and they've always been great.

A standard mode that dials things back to an LR without acceleration boost would be nice to have.

My Camaro SS 1LE (which I recently sold) just felt so sluggish, especially after driving an MS Plaid. Before that I used to think that a V8 had awesome throttle response. Of course above 80mph the Camaro was faster than my M3P but the M3P is the king of autocross and stoplight ego battles.

Probably best to schedule a service appointment, without a video or sound clip its hard to say what this could be.

Comparing a Plaid to an M3P is like comparing a Dodge Viper to a Miata.

It'll have wind down windows, manual seats, no steering wheel/pedals, a 65" screen in place of the windshield and FSD will still be in beta.

High version number releases like this are typically shipped on new cars and aren't actual versions pushed wide to the fleet. Their purpose is to keep the new car on a specific software version for 4-6 weeks to enable post-delivery issues to be sorted out on a static software version.

Rented a 2019 M3P- for a week before pulling the trigger on my M3P. My M3P seemed to be a much better put together car overall. Although that could just have been attributed to regular wear and tear on the 2019 rental.

Just got my US-spec CCS1 adaptor yesterday, the supercharger network has never failed me but its nice to have options.

UPS should be delivering my CCS adaptor today! I only fast charge on road trips but there have a been a few times where I've been at a full supercharger with an empty EA down the street.

Just upgraded 2022.28.1 > 2022.28.2. 800 mile roadtrip this weekend, will see how it goes.

I just ordered the setup in my signature yesterday. I've put 8000 miles on the stock setup in the last 3 months and haven't had any major issues but I always worry that I'll hit some random pothole on a roadtrip and get stranded.

That's one thing that really surprised me, given the cost of the M3P I would expect it to at least have adaptive dampers since the last 3 cars I had which all cost less than the M3P had them.

Awesome! I was strongly considering an RS3 myself but I just had an E85 Golf R for almost 2 years that I was getting bored of. I feel like the RS3 would've been too similar to the Golf R for me, I love how RS3's sound with a nice exhaust though!

6/26/22 Delivery - 6535 miles

I took delivery of my Fremont M3P on 6/26/22. Have since driven it 6600 miles, including two 2000 mile roadtrips. The only issues I've had are having to get my cabin filters replaced and coils cleaned due to the common issue of the AC developing a mildewy smell and having to get one taillight...

I rented a 2019 Stealth Performance for a week before I took delivery of my 2022 Performance and I don’t recall there being any noticeable differences between the two wheels. Maybe the Performance keeps the thicker wheel.

Having stalks saved me a few months ago when some random semi truck took a turn into a gas station way too wide and was about to hit me, was able to quickly flip itno reverse and get out of the way. They must’ve been a new driver since they ended up beaching their trailer on the curb.
