Definitely not true, it will show your car is in production. But may be it only take a week, so if you don't log in often enough you will only see "in transit".

Mine is 279xx and it is still in production queue, recent chat with DS when I asked for RVG she told me the schedule remains some time in Feb, approx production complete end Dec. Hope this will happen. I have 6 seats and 60D (become limited edition for now).
